Nearly didnt get these, but I kept looking and researching on Amazon. I noticed most buyers said the rubber smelled, the ones with grab holes were sharp, but the vintage buyers loved them . I dont mind the flat style of theses standard weights, the plates have no damage and raised letters and numbers were painted correctly and havent rubbed off yet. The box is about 3 inches tall, with banded wraps on 4 places, packege was then shrink wrapped tightly and weather pruff. these weights are accurate in weight, and box did have the clips in it compared to many whom report they didnt get theres. Also came in 2 days from amazon and remember, these are the VINTAGE style plates. These were also the olympic size. These also fit my olympic dumbells better than my Caps and Marcy do..

Bought for my powertec home gym, and couldn't be happier. Well constructed, and on the level or better than any I've seen in the many gyms I've worked out in through the years. I like the handle placement as well, so that they're easier to hold for other ex like lunges; where i prefer a plate with handle to a dumbell. And the rubber is quality; and Fit perfectly on all Olympic plate attachments on machine; and bars. Also a very fair price for the amount of weight I received.

I purchased these 45# rubber coated plates because they looked like a great value. Unfortunately they don't weigh 45#. 1 plate weighs 43.5 and the other weighs 43.25. I would have worked with a few ounces off but 1.5# is too much and I will be returning. Too be fair the plates do seem to be fairly good quality aside from not weighing the posted weight.

These plates are great. They seem like the best value I could find on Amazon, and the option to get them with the grips on either side make them really versatile. They're super easy to move around the gym and the handles make them great for Farmers carries or to hold when doing squats or sit-ups.

The weights themselves are quality enough and perfect for my tib bar. However, I should have gone with the sets without the rubber coating because this set smells like a tire fire. They stink SO BAD and I'm hoping that leaving them outside to air out will help. it's like the Daytona 500 was held in a volcanic cauldron and the rejected tires were sent to satan's fiery armpit to melt down for the coating to ship directly to my house. Stinky for sure. But the weights seem good enough.
