I purchased this couch and the same recliner, the set is perfect in our entertainment room! The couch was easy to move with two people and assembly was quick and simple. The end product is a very comfortable couch, the reclining options only add to the comfort! The cascading cushions provide the perfect amount of support for relaxing, reading, or watching TV. There is not a lot of extra room needed to allow for reclining, so in a limited space it is the perfect option! Last but not least, we chose grey and the color is spot on to work with any decor, we haven't really solidified our decorations, but I think it will work with anything we go with! Seems like a nice couch, the fabric seems thick and like good quality. The seat is quite firm, but the back and arm rests are a little softer (probably a medium firmness). *Edit* It's been almost 2 years since I purchased this couch and it's held up fairly well. The stuffing on the side that gets sat on the most is starting to flatten out a little and sits lower than the other spots. A small hole also formed on the edge on the the middle spot where my feet are often sitting when I have them under me; I'm pretty sure my feet pull on the material at this spot which is what caused it to tear. I still find this couch very comfortable and don't regret the buy. ... show more

The sofa came in perfect condition. 2 different wrappings, 1 was very thick plastic. I had this sofa years ago in brown. It is very comfy. Easy to fall asleep while reclining.

Ashley furniture is the reason I bought this sofa. I bought this in Oct 27, 2022, and it is now 1 1/2 years old and three months after I bought it the seat on the right side began to sag. My adult son looked at it and didn't see anything wrong, but the fact is the seat leans to the left. I added a picture, and you can see how it leans to the left and when I sit on it, the cushion drops down about 4 inches. The sad part is that is my preferred area to sit for convenience. I haven't contacted anyone yet but need to see if at least there can be a repair or something. It is extremely uncomfortable. Footrest sucks but enough padding in armrests and back. It is beautiful to look at but under the makeup is a horror story. I would not recommend this sofa at any price. Used maybe, or sitting on the street I might consider it if I had nothing but not for what this sofa goes for. It was $858.47 when I bought it. Strangely my love seat which is Ashley is still in great condition and it is about 8 years old. That is why I trusted the name. ... show more

After reading the reviews I was on the fence about this purchase. 1. Being in quarantine during a pandemic and not being able to see and test the couch beforehand had me nervous. 2. The reviews varied from "excellent service great product", to "left outside on my lawn". I have to say, they delivered it quickly before the scheduled time, called in advance and worked with my schedule. They brought up the the pieces out of the box, and assembled in less than 10 minutes. It was literally the bottom of the couch in 1 piece and the back of the couch in 3 pieces that easily clicked in. The delivery guys even tested out the recling function to make sure everything was ok. ALL THIS even during social distancing, to a second floor apartment went above and beyond my expectations honestly. The couch is nice and sturdy, supports alot of weight as my husbands 6ft tall and 300lbs. with us and the kids, it's still going strong. The cats try to scratch at it and the cloth does seen to easily pull, but we got couch protector vinyl for the sides to stave off the cats. It's been about a month and I cant honestly find anything to complain about. And I didnt want this couch, it looked clunky, but the whole family loves it. It almost reclines all the way back into sleeping position and only requires a couple of inches from the wall to do so like 4 or 5 inches. But can easily lay flush against the wall and slightly recline. Color me pleasantly surprised and satisfied with my husbands pick. ... show more

The sofa is great .the foot could use more padding but I hope I can add something to make that More comfortable.. delivery was another story ..2 men could not lift box 4” up into my house from the deck..they struggled and struggled..I said why not take it out of the box and carry the parts in..man said oh No… we do not unpack or put together. I said really . I read the reviews that delivery sets up and I can inspect before you leave, he said Nope Not us ..I said okay just leave I will do it myself, sad that a 75 year old woman has to get it in the house for you..so they left I broke open the box I got the 4 parts in the house and put it together..saved myself the tip I had ready to give them..pizza for dinner,lucky me.. ... show more

This couch came in one piece. Which surprised my husband and I as we thought we’d have to assemble it. The delivery drivers were so nice and took it right into our living room and unboxed it for us and took away all the trash with it. They were so kind and really went above and beyond to make sure the couch was put somewhere easy for us to move around . As far as the couch itself goes, it’s very sturdy and comfortable. I imagined it would be much more plush than it is.. but it’s not bad! The only downside to this couch is how much effort it takes to close the recliner bit.. it’s like a hard kick backwards which isn’t bothersome unless you have back issues.
