WARNING: PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO DELIVERY OPTIONS or you too will get a couch in your driveway. It’s a little confusing and you have to pay/arrange for it to be brought inside the house/delivered to a specific room! If you don’t arrange the right delivery it’s going to be left somewhere on your property that you probably don’t want it. That being said, I won’t be letting the delivery impact my review because that was my husbands fault. I think this might be the most comfortable furniture piece I’ve ever owned and this is replacing two reclining chairs we had for years. The sofa is absolutely perfect for me (5’5”) but a little small still for my husband height wise (6ft) and his feet hang off the foot rest— a pillow under his calves/feet helps him feel perfectly relaxed and to be fair HE bought ME this loveseat but I’d figured I’d add this for the tall folks. I’m also a midsize girlie with bigger hips and I will say that I think this is best for average sized folks or smaller— I think I’m just right for this couch and I’m a size 12/14 ladies but if I were a little bigger I think I would be too big due to my wider hips. That being said it is perfect for my husband and I, it is excellent for watching TV/relaxing in our family room. The neck and back support is absolutely perfect and it’s very easy to recline as much or as little as you want. It’s not often you get this level of neck and head support while watching tv and I truly think this kind of support helps correct your posture or at least not worsen it.     • Pleasantly surprised. My husband picked this couch I didnt want it.

After reading the reviews I was on the fence about this purchase. 1. Being in quarantine during a pandemic and not being able to see and test the couch beforehand had me nervous. 2. The reviews varied from "excellent service great product", to "left outside on my lawn". I have to say, they delivered it quickly before the scheduled time, called in advance and worked with my schedule. They brought up the the pieces out of the box, and assembled in less than 10 minutes. It was literally the bottom of the couch in 1 piece and the back of the couch in 3 pieces that easily clicked in. The delivery guys even tested out the recling function to make sure everything was ok. ALL THIS even during social distancing, to a second floor apartment went above and beyond my expectations honestly. The couch is nice and sturdy, supports alot of weight as my husbands 6ft tall and 300lbs. with us and the kids, it's still going strong. The cats try to scratch at it and the cloth does seen to easily pull, but we got couch protector vinyl for the sides to stave off the cats. It's been about a month and I cant honestly find anything to complain about. And I didnt want this couch, it looked clunky, but the whole family loves it. It almost reclines all the way back into sleeping position and only requires a couple of inches from the wall to do so like 4 or 5 inches. Ashley furniture is the reason I bought this sofa. I bought this in Oct 27, 2022, and it is now 1 1/2 years old and three months after I bought it the seat on the right side began to sag. My adult son looked at it and didn't see anything wrong, but the fact is the seat leans to the left. I added a picture, and you can see how it leans to the left and when I sit on it, the cushion drops down about 4 inches. The sad part is that is my preferred area to sit for convenience. I haven't contacted anyone yet but need to see if at least there can be a repair or something. It is extremely uncomfortable. Footrest sucks but enough padding in armrests and back. It is beautiful to look at but under the makeup is a horror story. I would not recommend this sofa at any price. Used maybe, or sitting on the street I might consider it if I had nothing but not for what this sofa goes for. It was $858.47 when I bought it. Strangely my love seat which is Ashley is still in great condition and it is about 8 years old. That is why I trusted the name. ... show more

The sofa came in perfect condition. 2 different wrappings, 1 was very thick plastic. I had this sofa years ago in brown. It is very comfy. Easy to fall asleep while reclining.

Was delivered early and they even brought it into my living room! Definitely worth the price! Was a bit stiff but after being sat on for about a week, very comfortable. Recliners worth great. Color is a bit different than shown but believe it's the knap of the upholstery that causes it. Not a problem for me though. ... show more

I'm glad I bought this couch for what I need however you get what you pay for. Quality is less than a $500 price point. Comfort is fine on the back rest and cushions. For the arm rest and foot rest, you can feel the wood pieces. Like many other reviews, the back will not stay reclined when you move at all. And it was delivered damaged. (One of the back wood slats was broken.) The delivery guy assured me that it was not broken in route by him however there's really no way to know. The customer service for this was really great though. I called them immediately not wanting to accept a damaged product however they let me know they were currently out of stock and they could either take it back or they would give me $120 refund. I chose to accept the refund hoping I could repair the wood slat myself for much cheaper than buying a new $1,000 couch which I'm not ready for at this time. It takes several sitting hours for it to break in but when it does it’s really comfortable. Everyone has different taste based on body size and form. This couch has nice lumbar support for my back. Big plus for me. Super easy assembly. Great size for our Florida room.
