    • Had Some Issues
I've ordered an Ashley recliner from this site before, and everything worked out great. I liked the look of this one, and ordered with confidence. Delivery was fine and set up was easy enough, but the chair had issues. The cushioning on the right arm wasn't done correctly and it caused bulging in the wrong place. I tried to manipulate the stuffing to the right place, but it didn't work. I also noticed that some areas of the fabric hadn't been stitched correctly and that could eventually lead to the fabric coming apart in those areas. I also found a large staple randomly falling out underneath the chair, which caused concern about durability. I called to report the issues through Amazon, and I was directed to contact the seller through their website. After trying that option, I was referred back to Amazon. I then decided to just ask to do a return. I had to send pictures in to show the defects, and then I was issued a pickup date. The pick up went well, and I was able to track the recliner on its way back to the warehouse. It's been about 3 and 1/2 weeks since the chair was picked up, and I've been patiently waiting for a refund. I was told that should happen soon. It's been a process, but I think it wasn't too bad of an experience. It was just a disappointment that the chair didn't work out. ... show more

    • The worst recliner I’ve ever sat in
I’m genuinely so confused by the good reviews. This recliner is horrendous. Incredibly uncomfortable, tiny. you can’t even sit in it regularly because it dips forward so much it’s touching the floor. I’m only 5’3 and my feet completely hang off even when fully reclined. The footrest cushion moves around everywhere and you can feel the wood in your feet. The color was fine. This chair is so comfortable. Really super easy to assemble. It's just one slide in the back clicks into place and that's it. You got your chair fully put together. It's super comfortable.     • WORST purchase we ever made on Amaxon - FINALLY RESOLVED
UPDATE: Finally received the replacement recliner but not until after many calls to Customer Service. We had to escalate up to higher management and all was taken care of. We do like the recliner very much now that everything has been resolved. Do NOT purchase this item. Horrible experience from delivery to item to getting satisfactory assistance. First one we ordered never got delivered. Amazon couldn't track it. After numerous calls with customer service, a replacement was ordered. More issues with delivery but finally arrived. Whew! However the chair is defective. Not sure if just horribly made or a building fell on one of the arms. Placed a return and replacement request and Amazon said they can't do that and to contact Ashley. Ashley said they can't help us. What??? Disgusting!! Stay tuned. Amazon says we should get a replacement Aug 22. Not holding our breath. We do actually like the recliner but has been very stressful and disappointing transaction. ... show more
