The media could not be loaded. I love this nice oversize cozy great Looking/feeling fabric recliner chair. Unfortunately it has a factory defect in the bracket that connects the back of the chair to the base of the chair at first I thought it was broken but it is just not lined up properly it is bolted on in the wrong spot they don’t have another one unfortunately I have to send this one back. I am 5‘2“ 230 pounds the chair is like having a big warm cozy blanket surrounding me plenty of room my husband is 6 feet 185 pounds and he loves it also. It is so unfortunate that they don’t have another one available because I will surely purchase it. Honestly one of the most comfortable chairs I have ever reclined in. Came in 2 pieces making assembley quick and easy, the material has soft feel yet is durable, I have a medium sized dog that jumps on and off of the chair and yet it holds up well, the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because it does take a little extra effort to kick leg rest into locking position when un-reclining, having said that the value for money is incredible, could easily see a recliner this nice costing twice as much. Whoever they hired to deliver in my area did an amazing job! They were supposed to just deliver it to the front door but they actually brought it inside to our family room. They waited a few minutes while we checked the box for damage. I can't praise them enough! Five star service! As for the chair itself, we're very happy with it. It was that time again. I needed a new recliner. I hem-hawed over the selection and even visited a few local furniture stores. I wanted a large adult sized [faux] leather rocking recliner, no swivel, manual foot release, with substantial arm rests that didn't have some gimmicky cup holders, and that's what this is. Believe it or not, I actually wanted to hate this thing. Like so many times before, Amazon lied about the delivery date, and when they broke their promise again, I tried my best to just cancel the order. Amazon selected a new day and time and delivered it anyway. When it arrived I carefully looked over the box for ANY signs of mishandling. I was just itching to refuse the delivery, but the box was in immaculate condition, so I signed for it and brought it into my house. During the assembly, it was somewhat difficult to get the backrest to lock into place. It just didn't seem to want to click. After some finagling it finally went into place, and that was was the entire assembly process. Having completed that task, I slid the chair into the corner and tried it out. From the first time I sat in this thing, it was amazing. No, really- It's _that_ good. This is the recliner you want. Think about that time you sat in a recliner and thought, "Wow! This is really good!" Yeah... That's this chair right here. I've had it for It for about a week now, and it makes me sad, because I know that like all my previous recliners, this thing will probably last 2 to 4 years before it breaks and I probably won't be able to find another one like it when I go to get a replacement. So if you need a new chair and your criteria for a recliner is the same as mine, take the plunge and get this one. Amazon will absolutely screw up the delivery date like they always do, but you'll eventually get your chair. Make sure you check that box over for damage BEFORE you sign, and you'll be able to enjoy a moment of bliss and comfort when you find time to sit a spell. ... show more

This recliner broke after 2 weeks of normal use. I am 6'3 220 lbs and apparently that is over the weight limit. There is no return options for this item and I can not get in contact with amazon or Ashely furniture about it. TERRIBLE!!!!!!!

First, if you are taller than 5’10” the leg rest will not reach your feet when raised. Your feel will hang off the end. Second, if you happen to lean forward while reclining the chair, it will rock forward and lock you into a very strange position, with the foot rest on the floor, the seat back straight up, and the seat at a 45 degree angle facing forward. Just put it back to regular, sit back, sit still, and then extend and raise the back/legs again. It was easy to assemble, but surprisingly heavy. The delivery was exactly on schedule. The faux leather is fantastic. If you have a broad backside, it might be too snug for you. I’m not impressed, but satisfied. ... show more
