I put the chair together easy with tools provided. Maybe a 2 person job but i did easily enough with one. Glad to add a good review as i was skeptical. Not a chair intended for people who need help getting up. It sits us as high up as our couch. I would add a dynamic for how tall the seat is, but i recommend measuring according to their specs. Bought used like new so was 150. Still id say if i had seen in person woulf have paid 250 easy. 300 in a pinch. Looks nice, seems good quality. Im excited to see how durable (long) it stays nice. I had seen this chair in person at Ashley furniture about two years ago. I would have bought it then, but it was not available at that time. I saw it on Amazon and was just waiting until I had the money to purchase it. I have shopped around quite a bit, and I feel that it is a fabulous buy! It fits the style and scale of my small home. These chairs are so comfortable and they are very classy. We have them in our kitchen seating area with a side table. I love to sit in them and read. Seat seams are splitting in three places after 18 months. Easy to put together, comfortable, nice-looking but upholstery started falling apart at age 18 mos. Purchased 12/2018. Figured ‘d get at least a few years out of it. Looks like price has increased $100 since we purchased. Hope they used better construction. Supposed to be Signature by Ashley. ... show more

    • Great chair but comes with a smell
I fell in love with this chair at the Ashley Homestore and waited til it was available to purchase here as it was half the price. But in case you are sensitive to smells, this one has a strong odor to it as soon as you open it up. Its probably due to the fabric or stuffing but I sat it outside in the fresh air all day and it still had a smell many hours later. The chair is very nice, easy to assemble and sturdy. The leather dye smell was very strong and unbearable. Had to move the chair outside in the sun for 4 days. Cleaned the chair with leather cleaner to help get the smell out and it seem to help a little. In my 20 X 20 room it was so strong that we could sit in the room with the chair. The smell took our breath away. After the 4 days the smell is not as bad. Hopefully it will go completely away soon. ... show more
