I appreciate how the package contained all pieces and nothing was damaged. It took me about an hour to build two chairs and the hardest step was step 2. Some parts of the instructions were not clear, but it did not take a while to figure things out. The quality of the material and screws are great and I don't foresee any issues in the future. It is a perfect size for our table, and the chairs are quite comfortable. We got these chairs on sale and is a great price.     • Good sturdy chairs for kitchen island seating

Pros: Heavy chair with sturdy construction. Assembly not too difficult. Two legs on each chair have levelers, but recommend covering them with felt sliders in order to prevent scratching the floor. Appearance matches the product listing. It's a good looking chair. Height is just right for our kitchen island. Con: Cushions are not cushy, but very hard. Not sure if this will improve with use, but right out of the box they are not comfortable. Not worth it to return. Will have to update after a few months of use. Recommendations: Mostly assembles with the included Allen wrench, but a screwdriver is needed for the wood screws to stabilize it, because the holes were not predrilled. Recommend an electric drill with a screwdriver bit. One of the levelers on one of the chair legs was stuck and did not work. Chair was slightly wobbly after assembly, but improved after covering with felt sliders and sitting on it. ... show more

I had been eyeing these from Ashley for a while and got them at a great price from Amazon. Box arrived with cuts in it but the materials were packaged well enough to where they was no damage inside. Assembly took about an hour and some screen holes for the seat cushions were not properly aligned. It was a relatively easy fix.     • OK Counter Height Bar Chair - Not so great customer service

I'm currently having a bad experience with getting a replacement part. The part I need is the back tall piece that you would lean against when sitting in the chair. The holes were not drilled correctly so they do not line up when trying to assemble the product. Therefore, I am unable to assemble the chair without the replacement part. It's been two weeks since I ordered the part, which was easy enough to order, however I still have not received the part, and when I contact customer service they cannot tell me when I should expect it. Very frustrating. Regarding the chair itself, I would say the other reviews are spot on as I was able to put one chair together easily. The chair is nice looking and comfortable. However, there are places where I can see where someone could get a splinter as there are rough patches. The rough patches on mine are on the legs, so I figure it's tolerable and I would just overlook it. The chair does have a slight wobble to it, however I put a cushioned floor protector on the bottom of the legs and that seemed to take care of that problem. So, other the crappy service I'd say it's nice chair as long as you get one that comes as it should. ... show more
