I love this cat tree but my cat does not. This is made very nice and sturdy and so easy to put together. My cat is scared of everything and will not use it. She will not jump up in the baskets. This is very attractive and not to overpowering in size but she will not try it.

This looks fantastic in person! It was pretty simple to put together, and I’m not particularly handy. Extremely sturdy and well made. No wobbles, very heavy. My cat absolutely LOVES it, which is what matters, but the fact that it looks so classy is a bonus I’ll happily accept. You'll have to put this together using the provided allen wrench but it was easy to do and feels sturdy. After a few days of having it in the house, the kitten we bought it for was only using the top basket to sleep in and would play with the ball that hangs from it but ignored the rest of it. My husband took it out from the wall into the middle of the room and suddenly the kitten uses the scratching posts and loves climbing all over it. I don't think she uses the rope much at this point. I think it is too stiff. She would only play in the bigger basket before and upon pressing down on it I decided that it wasn't nearly as cushy as it looked. You hit the hard bottom really fast. So I threw in a small soft blanket to add to the comfort and now she sleeps in that basket as well. I also added a couple more play things hanging from it and she spend a lot of time playing and sleeping there. The baskets are pretty though I question how long they will last since they also get bit and clawed on but so far I think it was worth the money I paid for it. I’ve learned from experience to waterproof the parts with soft material before assembly. Once that was done, I had this assembled in ten minutes. The tower is very sturdy, excellent craftsmanship and quality materials. The large basket is big enough to accommodate our 18 lb. Maine Coone with room to grow (another 2 years). The small basket is perfect for our 10 week old kitten, but a bit snug for our 12 pounder. (Yes, we’ve got too many cats.) That doesn't stop her from using it, though. The cushions in the baskets aren’t super thick, but I cover with blankets anyway so I can wash them. The felines were immediately interested and all of them took turns claiming their territories. This is definitely their all-time favorite tower. The scratching posts are placed perfectly and get lots of use. It's pricier than many towers, and definitely worth the extra dollars. I can’t speak to durability but if there’s any problem I’ll update this review. Highly recommend! ... show more

I have a very large tree but was looking for a shorter one as a 2nd. Ordered this for my 5 fur babies because the all want the top spot on the old tree. 5 mins after assembly they were all over it. As you can see the top is for smaller cats. However my big boy wanted to explore the smaller rest on top lol. He is 17 pounds and fits well in the lower basket with plenty of room. I wish the platforms were a bit bigger to ease them getting in the baskets. But it's super cute and easy to assemble. Love the wicker look. Shipping was 5 days later than the original expected delivery date. But over all it was the height I was looking for. ... show more
