Is a solid good quality mattress. Comfortable maybadd a foam topper a bit firm. But the smell of chemicals is unreal. I reccomend working out for a few days in a space with airflow and not sleeping on it until the smell subsides

    • Please Do Not Waste Your Money - Not As Advertised

Firstly, I never actually leave reviews, even when I am displeased with a product. So for me to get on here and write a review, it's bad. I realize reviewing a mattress can be a very subjective thing; whatever is comfortable to me might not be comfortable to you, etc. However, this mattress is complete garbage and even dangerous. (And I didn't have high expectations to begin with. I knew I was purchasing a budget mattress. It's that bad.) The listing advertises that there are heavy duty coils and 1" of foam on top. The coils are so weak, when you sit on the mattress, you can feel them bending sideways under your weight (and I am petite). Also, there is ZERO foam on top. It is fabric, a TINY amount of some batting (about a centimeter or less), and then metal coils. When you sit or lie on the mattress, the coils poke you. I purchased this mattress to go in my son's room as an occasional bed for guests and for him when he transitions out of a crib. I would not feel comfortable letting anyone sleep on this mattress for fear of the coils popping through the thin fabric and cutting someone. There also is not a tag to be seen anywhere on this mattress. (You know, those mandatory "do not remove except for the consumer," tags?) I do not believe this is an Ashley Furniture mattress. If you buy this, I believe you are being scammed. I figured out afterwards that lots of people are displeased and returning. Don't waste your money or time. ... show more

    • Spend the extra few bucks and purchase the Ashley Chime hybrid mattress

I purchased two of these mattresses for my twins bunk bed. The manufacturer of the bunk bed reccomended 6 inch mattresses and against my better judgment, that's what I went with. Before I purchased these, I had just ordered the Ashley Chime hybrid 8 inch mattress for a trundle bed in my daughters room and we were quite suprised with the quality of that mattress. So I went ahead and ordered these, hoping we would have the same quality. I will be taking the loss on these two mattresses and ordering the Chime hybrid mattresses. Spend the extra 30 bucks and save yourself some grief. This mattress is terrible. You can literally feel every coil. While it is an affordable mattress, in this case, you get what you pay for. The mattress is uncomfortable and thin. We had to purchase mattress toppers for the time being until the other two mattresses are delivered, they are that bad.
