The set of four (4) chairs are an excellent value. The perfecting match and compliment the round table with matching metal and wood work. I did experience a problem with the finish on two of the four chairs but Amazon immediately corrected the matter to my satisfaction. The chairs assemble easily in around ten minutes for each unit. The sturdiness is well worth the assembly time. The upholstered seats are coordinated well with the chairs' wooden features as well as the matching table top. These chairs are so beautiful & very sturdy! The directions were super easy & made it a piece of cake to assemble. The first chair took us like 30 minutes because we were trying to figure out all the pieces & how they matched up with the labels but after that, each chair probably took 15 us minutes. I was looking for new chairs that would work with our existing table and withstand the damage kids can inflict These fit the bill I did have to add a rug to eliminate the clanking sound when pushing the chairs under the table (from the leveling caps that are at the base of each chair leg) All in all I love them Wish they had 6/chairs or the option to buy 2 as I needed seating for 6 I bought a bench to complete my “set”. ... show more

The chairs arrived yesterday, 2 days early. After reading some of the negative comments about assembly I was a bit skeptical but jumped into it anyway. As some have stated the first chair took around 30 mins or so but I was able to get it done. I'm not sure why the instructions suggest 2 or more people? I had no problems. The remaining chairs took about another 30-45 mins total. ***TIP*** -- When fastening the base to the back, I would leave those screws a bit loose until you have the bottom brace screwed into each leg. Then tighten the base/back screws before mounting the seat cushion. The chairs seem to be very stable and no wobbles. Style-wise it was exactly what I was looking for to go with my existing table. The wood on the chairs matches my table almost perfectly. You be the judge. See photo below. ... show more

I bought a set of these chairs for my kitchen about three years ago and I absolutely love them. In fact, I like them so much I decided to get a set of four for my dining room. Now when I have company I have eight matching chairs! The chairs were easy to put together. I am a 60+ year-old woman and I did it myself. It took about 15 minutes for each chair. I used a screwdriver but opted to use a drill to drive in the screws to attach the seats to the frame. I am very pleased with my purchase! ... show more

These chairs are being used in our kitchen dinning area. We first saw the chairs in an Ashley show room. They were about $100 less from Amazon. My wife (while watching TV) put them together in about an hour "BY HERSELF"! I'm 240lbs and I feel secure sitting on them. The fabric looks great incase you have kids that may spill. My wife sprayed them with scotch guard real good before attaching them. One NOTE: The instructions tell you to NOT TIGHEN the screws before putting on the brace (which is under the seat), if you do you may have problems when it comes time to add the brace and think something is off line with the legs. The screws come with "locking washers" which should keep the screws from getting loose over time. ... show more

I had a set of 4 chairs similar to the new ones I am reviewing now. I used them for 11 years, they have welded parts that started giving way, 2 old chairs were broken. I hope they can last at least 11 years as the older version did. The new ones are a little bit lighter in weight but are sturdy and heavy enough to hold good weight.
