    • Solid, comfortable rocker/recliner at a great price
I wanted to wait a few months before reviewing this recliner. There was a very slight "new furniture" smell which disappeared quickly. It was super easy to assemble, it comes in two pieces in one big box, just take everything out of the plastic, align the two metal extensions on the back with the slots at the back of the seat, slide it down and it locks in, and that's that. If you have to do this by yourself, the best way is to sit down on the floor behind the seat, take the back and lift it up and into place. The back is much lighter than the seat so it isn't difficult. This is a very comfortable recliner. The lever on the side opens the foot rest easily. To put the foot rest back you pretty much have to get up and push it with your heel back into place. You can close it while remaining seated but it's not easy. The rocking motion is totally smooth. It reclines almost to flat but not quite. I'm six foot one and this recliner is big enough for me, but anyone taller might find the leg rest a bit too short. The fabric is soft and the two-tone look is very attractive. I think this recliner is very well worth the money. ... show more

    • Most comfortable recliner I've owned...
But... When it delivered, the bottom below the handle, the wood was broken. No big deal, I shrugged it off. 3 months later, now the bar to the leg rest, next to the broken wood, is noticeably bent. I didn't notice sooner because I never looked underneath the chair. The foot recliner leans low on that side, and doesn't lock without my kids helping push it down. I can't get the foot rest to even start to retract without having to stand up out of the chair. Which is hard to stand if it won't go down. I love how large and comfy it is though. I wish pieces could be replaced. Now I'm just stuck dealing with this issue until I can afford a new chair. ... show more

I like that it was big enough to feel comfortable in, but it has draw back ,like when you "stretch out", I don't really feel comfortable. Even sitting upright, you feel a little uncomfortable trying to rock in the upright position.

very comfortable please way back so you can take a nice nap and also because it's a rocker it's easier to get out of. It's also a very nice looking piece of furniture. I would definitely recommend this.

    • Chair broke after just a few months
This chair broke less than 6 months of receiving it.. the manufacturer will NOT replace or repair it. NOT covered under warranty if purchased through Amazon!!!! BUYER BEWARE!! They want you to hire a technician out of your own pocket with no reimbursement to tell them what parts they will send to you but won’t send a technician to repair the chair!!! A HORRIBLE COMPANY!! They did not care about the consumer at all!!! DO NOT BUY ASHLEY FURNITURE!! It is crappy quality!! ... show more
