I've had this chair for a few months. I'm 6 feet tall, and the chair fits me well. The foot rest control, which is a tab you pull on the right side of the chairm, is very easy to use. And with the chair fully extended I've fallen asleep a few times. The only "issue" I have is the use of a bright almost gold colored thread for accent stitching. I would have preferred a counter-stitching thread color closer to the brown color of the fabric. So if I was going to buy this chair again, I might go with the black color. Then again, maybe not, as the black color was more expensive. All in all, I think most people would be very happy with this chair and overall so am I. ... show more

Absolutely what I expected in this rocker recliner! Very well made. It's very comfortable! Bought this for my husband for his birthday. He is 6'5 at 330lbs. It fits him wonderfully. He really likes it. The colors go well with our other furniture and decor. Everyone that comes over when he is not here wants to sit in it. The delivery guys were right on time (actually a little early.) You can't go wrong with this recliner. The ONLY downfall to buying this chair is I can't get my husband out of it...😉 ... show more

    • Firm, functional, easy to assemble
I didn’t know with the reviews if it was worth the risk to buy it. Every opinion on here was a bit different but I took the risk. The multiple reviews of the recliner not wanting to close unless you stand up and close it is true. Unless while sitting down you lean forward and slam one foot back hard enough. The review about the seat being firm is true. When I first sat in it, it was super firm. But as I sat back and pulled the recliner lever, it reclined really really far back. It felt like it was sucking me into the recliner. Which was nice to feel comfortable. But as I am 5’8inches and 180 lbs the recliner when reclining back my heal just barely came to the end foot rest. But as for my shorter family members sitting in the chair it’s hard to rock and touch the floor. I do love the wide arm rests as for a mom of a premie infant that doesn’t sleep well the arm rests allows me to hold a lot of his medical supplies on the arm rests. It’s also comfortable to hold him in it as well. For my partner and his other side of the family who are above 6 foot tall. The chair is okay, their feet over hang the foot rest. They have some space in between the armrest and their thighs. They even struggle putting the footrest down. I wish it swivels but it rocks which is the most important. I also wish it was super bulky as it does take up a lot in the living room. Overall, this chair was worth the risk and it’s comfortable and beautiful. It fits my decor perfectly. ... show more

We were getting tired of going to furniture shops. We kinda saw this one at a big lots. If you’re curious on finding one to sample, go to a local big lots store. They have one called “mesa brown recliner glider by Ashley” it’s very similar to this one. That’s the only reason we bought this ones because it was similar. Installation is easy. It’s two pieces. Bottom and top. You place two prongs in and it clicks! The item is heavy though, about 110 lbs so the box is huge, just something to consider. Overall very happy! ... show more

This recliner is leaps and bounds better than my previous one. So much so that I have had it for 5 days and I have slept in it overnight for 3 of those days. It's nice and big and fits my 6ft tall 230lb frame perfectly.
