First time ordering "real" furniture from amazon. We've had it for one day. So far very happy! Delivery: Quick! Took less than a week from order to delivery. The gentlemen who delivered brought it straight inside our living room (after asking and receiving permission of course). They even offered to open the box and carefully removed the sofa for us. Friendly and professional. Shipping: The recliner was shipped solid in one large heavy gauge box. A thick layer of plastic entombed the recliner. It was even bolted to a sheet of plywood to brace and protect the frame. Obviously this manufacture took great care in preparing this recliner for shipping. Product: Oh boy is it comfy! I'm 5'2" and my heels do not touch the end of the foot rest. My husband is 5'6" and his heels barely make it over the edge. Our boys are 5'9' and 6', they're heels do hang off but not uncomfortably. All of us weigh over 180 lbs and our sides do not touch the sides of the seats. Every square inch of this recliner is covered in a soft flush material, but there's no lint or beading, as of yet. The cup holders and console is contoured with a thick plastic that is glued(?) in, but they are secure. The hinges of the center console are metal. The pull handles to recline on the out side are plastic but seem to be secured inside by a metal hinge designed to handle a lot of use. Best feature: This recliner is a wall hugger!!!! For those of you who don't know what this is... Most recliners have to be placed away from a wall, sometimes placed in a corner, because when it is reclined the back reclines away from the seat. Meaning the seat doesn't move when the back falls back and the legs raise up. A wall hugger recliner is an awesome design because it can be placed right up against a wall. When reclined, the seat moves forward as the back reclines down and the feet raise up. One smooth move! I read previous reviews on this one and several others. I too appreciate reviews on the details I find important especially when ordering pricey items. I plan to write a follow up in a few weeks time, but only if there's a reason to. With the obvious quality, I really don't foresee any problems. If the supply is running is short, I can honestly advise you don't delay.... this is a great buy! ... show more

This sofa came easy to assemble. We are well pleased with comfort and look of this sofa. No smell. Weight of sofa was reasonable. Comes in a box that's easy to get to the sofa. The value for the money for what we were looking for was spot on. The cushions are comfortable and plush. Really like the color selection and the size. 1st time ever owning a Recliner. Due to medical issues, I have to sleep in a recliner. From that perspective, here are my thoughts: I wish it reclined further. I don't need it to be a full 180°, but it feels like it's only 135°. It would be nice if it reclined further. I also wish the seat tipped back when it reclined. As is, the seat is level with the ground, so there is a tendency to slowly slide downward. While overall build quality feels solid, I brushed my hand against the zipper for the cover over the center console lid, and the zipper fell apart like the metal was rusted. One time, digging my hand between the seat and the arm, I discovered an upward-pointing pin or nail. The painful way. Overall, it's well padded, but the top of the arm, under the padding, isn't flat so sitting on the arm itself (not the normal way to use it) is a bit uncomfortable. Aside from those nits, it's a good, study product. It takes a reasonably short time to change from upright to reclined positions. I'm 5'8", and the footrest supports my calves. With my legs outreached, my heels overhang the footrest, but it extended enough so it's not uncomfortable. ... show more

I thought I would give this recliner a try as it looked comfortable and had the features I wanted: center console and power reclining and usb ports. Putting it together was not a problem with my husband. However, the QUALITY of the piece is trash. As you can see, just after a few months (purchased late March 2023 and it is now June 4, 2023). I thought I would be safe purchasing this item, but you can see for yourself the materials they use are trash. Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with this junk. The manual reclining loveseat is fantastic. Comfortable. Seems durable so far. The seat cushion is slightly firm, but the armrests and back support is soft. The shipping by CEVA was great. (Do NOT order this if it says shipped by FragilePak, they are terrible… this service lost my recliner and could not give me an answer for over a month so I canceled that order. Once I reordered it with shipping by CEVA I had it within a week along with accurate tracking details!) So moving on, it does not come with helpful assembly instructions. The L and R labels on the side cushions are misleading… basically the left (L) goes on the right and the right (R) goes on the left if you are facing the loveseat from the front. ... show more

This is the first time I've ever ordered furniture online, but it definitely will not be the last! Looking online makes it hard to know exactly what you're getting. So if your like me, you take in to account all the reviews to help make your decision. My couch was supposed to be delivered today between 9-12. I got a call at 8 saying they could "deliver it now if you'd like or we can come back in a couple hours. Which works best for you?" I was so excited to get it!! They brought the couch in, unpacked, assembled & took all the trash (ADDL. FEE) and it looks AMAZING and is so comfortable!! I am pleasantly surprised at the quality and look! I love it and can't wait to sit there and relax. Also, my delivery drivers were awesome!! They started my morning off in a great mood!! This was a great purchase!! ... show more

FIrst off, the carrier didn't contact me to let me know the couch had arrived. Order info says they'll call before delivery and 30 minutes before they arrive. I happened to look out my kitchen window and saw this huge box on a pallet in my front lawn. They didn't even bother to knock or ring the bell. In the photo attached i was trying to slide the right wing onto the back of the right seat, but you can see the L shaped piece of wood i outlined. Whoever put this chair together didn't flush up the wood inside and it sticks out about 1/8 of an inch. That's 1/8 of an inch to far to slide the wing into the bracket on the seat back. I had to remove the staples and trip that wood down to get it to go together. Which is why i gave 1 stars on assembly. Most people wouldn't have been able to do this, or wouldn't want to, and they'd never get the wing attached. After i fixed the wood when i tried to slide the wing on the bracket i found they put the bracket too close to the edge so the fabric ripped from the bracket on the seat back when it slid in place. So on to the good parts. It's comfy. After all the work it took to assemble and get in the house, i sat down and reclined and took a nap. This is one of the most comfy couches i've sat on, and sleeping fully reclined is also nice. The tray in the center console is very shallow though, maybe only 3 inches deep if that, all the photos online make it look like it's deeper. at least it will hold my remotes. And i really like having hte cup holders in the middle of the couch there. I won't have to have a tv tray or coffee table pulled close to set my drink on now. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone else though, it couldn't see my friends put this together without help, or even get it in the house off the front lawn without help. ... show more
