First time ordering "real" furniture from amazon. We've had it for one day. So far very happy! Delivery: Quick! Took less than a week from order to delivery. The gentlemen who delivered brought it straight inside our living room (after asking and receiving permission of course). They even offered to open the box and carefully removed the sofa for us. Friendly and professional. Shipping: The recliner was shipped solid in one large heavy gauge box. A thick layer of plastic entombed the recliner. It was even bolted to a sheet of plywood to brace and protect the frame. Obviously this manufacture took great care in preparing this recliner for shipping. Product: Oh boy is it comfy! I'm 5'2" and my heels do not touch the end of the foot rest. My husband is 5'6" and his heels barely make it over the edge. Our boys are 5'9' and 6', they're heels do hang off but not uncomfortably. All of us weigh over 180 lbs and our sides do not touch the sides of the seats. Every square inch of this recliner is covered in a soft flush material, but there's no lint or beading, as of yet. The cup holders and console is contoured with a thick plastic that is glued(?) in, but they are secure. The hinges of the center console are metal. The pull handles to recline on the out side are plastic but seem to be secured inside by a metal hinge designed to handle a lot of use. Best feature: This recliner is a wall hugger!!!! For those of you who don't know what this is... Most recliners have to be placed away from a wall, sometimes placed in a corner, because when it is reclined the back reclines away from the seat. Meaning the seat doesn't move when the back falls back and the legs raise up. A wall hugger recliner is an awesome design because it can be placed right up against a wall. When reclined, the seat moves forward as the back reclines down and the feet raise up. One smooth move! I read previous reviews on this one and several others. I too appreciate reviews on the details I find important especially when ordering pricey items. I plan to write a follow up in a few weeks time, but only if there's a reason to. With the obvious quality, I really don't foresee any problems. If the supply is running is short, I can honestly advise you don't delay.... this is a great buy! ... show more

We have a normally low traffic house, but it's gotten regular use by two empty nesters for over two years and still looks better than good and all of the hardware, although not heavy duty, still works like new. Recommend the recliners, but not comfortable to sleep in when recliners are closed and you lay across all 3 seat cushions. There are visible gaps between the seat backs, but, recliners- so it kind of needs to, but it doesn't look upline. The fabric, however, has held up very well with a good vacuuming as needed. We purchased this on 4-19-22. By Feb of 2023 we realized the seat support on both recliner sides was failing. By April it had become almost unusable. The cushions had collapsed. I had tried to contact the mfg, but they never responded. However, when we first bought the sofa we also bought the extra warranty from Allstate, on the chance that if the sofa failed they would make it good. The only reason we bought the sofa was because we felt we had a security backup. Guess what, not only is the sofa garbage, but so is the warranty! According to allstate/square trade a loss of seat resiliency is not covered. WhAT? SO if the couch actually makes your back hurt if you sit on it and the build quality is so bad that it can't last a year, well - too bad. From both the manufacturer and the warranter. Ashley wouldn't respond to emails while it was in the factory warranty period. Allstate tossed the ball when it was out. Oh, they are going to refund the $110 cost of the warranty, gee thanks. Finally, I am 70 years old, my wife is 73. I am 6' tall and weigh 235 lbs.. My wife is 5'7" and weighs 150. So we are not some giant people that overload the furniture. I guess I'll now pay to have someone haul this to the dump. Pathetic! SO, stay away from both Ashley and Allstate. Also, I am a vine reviewer but I paid hundreds for this sofa and it was not part of the vine program. ... show more

This is the first time I've ever ordered furniture online, but it definitely will not be the last! Looking online makes it hard to know exactly what you're getting. So if your like me, you take in to account all the reviews to help make your decision. My couch was supposed to be delivered today between 9-12. I got a call at 8 saying they could "deliver it now if you'd like or we can come back in a couple hours. Which works best for you?" I was so excited to get it!! They brought the couch in, unpacked, assembled & took all the trash (ADDL. FEE) and it looks AMAZING and is so comfortable!! I am pleasantly surprised at the quality and look! I love it and can't wait to sit there and relax. Also, my delivery drivers were awesome!! They started my morning off in a great mood!! This was a great purchase!! ... show more

    • Easily feel overheated when sitting on it

The couch functions well overall, but I tend to overheat whenever I sit on it. It seems to trap body heat, making it uncomfortable to use for long periods. Interestingly, I don’t experience this issue with my other couch. I covered it with a lightweight sheet, and that has helped a little.

I bought a smll love seat and i actually hated it, didn't match good, i didn't lome the material and very hard to keep cat fur off it so i saw this couch and it was a match to my recliner.
