    • Quality, solid, good looking.
Color: Grey Set name: Sofa
This was more expensive than other recliners on Amazon. They seem to be built to hopefully last 3 - 5 years. I expect this to last at least 20. This is for someone who would rather buy quality and long term value than short term cheapest. First, it doesn't use weak, splintering wood. The frame is solid metal construction. The leather? material is thick and well stitched. It seems like it will last many years. The padding seems substantial, but definitely not puffy. It's comfortable, and it's easy to fall asleep in it. Perhaps too easy. It's long. I've sat in friend's recliners purchased on Amazon. They're acceptable, but probably made for someone 5' 6-8" ish. This seems to be made for someone 5' 10" to 6' 2". I haven't had anyone taller than that sit on it yet. It is heavy. I'm athletic, and stronger than most in my gym. Mine came in one box, and it was a beast. According to the shipper it sat in my town for a week. My best guess is it was heavier than a normal crew could handle. Make sure it is placed where you can assemble it from. If it's delivered outside or in your garage, you will need a couple strong guys to move it. Or you will need to open the box where it is, and carry each piece in to assemble it. Assembly was easy and probably the same as every other recliner sofa. You will need a power strip for all of the cords. If you're on the edge, this is a solid, good looking choice! It will add quality to your living room. And it is comfortable. ... show more

    • Great deal and comfortable sofa
Color: Grey Set name: Sofa
Review Image by Judy M
Looked at this sofa in the store, decided we wanted it and then came to Amazon to buy 2 of them for THOUSANDS cheaper than the store. We had the sofas a week and a half after ordering, though they were at the local warehouse within 2 days. Sofa is very comfortable and has many bells and whistles (electric raise and lower for feet & head, massage, phone chargers built in, storage, many cup holders). RXO out of Richmond VA is fantastic! They not only brought both sofas in but they unboxed them, set them up for us and took away all the trash. These sofas are very heavy, so we were happy to tip the guys for doing this for us, as they had stated that they were only required to leave them on our front porch. Assembly was quick, fitting back into base and plugging in. ... show more

    • A lovely couch but heavy
Color: Grey Set name: Sofa
If the delivery people had not been willing to bring it to the door, it would still be out in the snow. They delivered it right before a snowstorm. Thankfully, the men set it at the door. We pulled it inside on the cardboard after carrying the loose pieces inside. It took 2 people very accustomed to moving to get it inside. The set up once inside was quite easy. We love the features and that the dog can have the middle seat. ... show more

    • Fantastic!! Everything I wanted.
Color: Black Set name: Sofa
Let me begin with this: THERE IS NO NEED TO BUY IT FROM THE ASHLEY FURNITURE STORE!! It is a rip off, they will price gouge you and get every penny out of you. They should be criminally prosecuted for their business practices. So pretty much I saved upwards of 3k ($3000!!) by not buying it at the store. Best of all it got delivered to my front door for FREE! Putting it together is mind numbingly easy. It is well made, very comfortable, it does everything it says it has. The heater part is only on the seat, the massage, on the back rest and don’t expect a shiatsu experience. It is effective enough and I fell asleep in like 10mins. My only complain is the uncertainty of the delivery and how it took several chat sessions to get an answer from an Amazon rep. They and the delivery company don’t talk to each other and tracking the delivery is nearly impossible. But when you’re saving this much money vs going to the Ashley store… to me is worth it. The sofa is heavy, well built, so a second pair of hands might be required (I did it on my own with a furniture moving dolly, $37 at Lowe’s). You won’t be disappointed. This is a great sofa so far. ... show more

    • Very comfortable, functional couch for a good price. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.
I am so pleased with this couch. My friend thought i was nuts, for ordering a couch off of Amazon, which I never sat on. Well after he helped me set it up and sat on it, he admitted he was wrong. It's very comfortable and has nice extras like adjustable headrest, plug and usb outlets and a center section for cups or fold it up for full length couch. It's also great having storage compartments in armrests at each end. The only downside is it was very unreliable trying to find out when it would arrive. i kept getting emails with new arrival dates. ... show more

    • Beautiful couch terrible shipping company
Color: Grey Set name: Sofa
Review Image by Amazon Customer
I hate to give this couch a 1 start review because the couch itself deserves 5 stars, I’d give it 6 if I could. I ordered 2 of these on November 29th, only 1 showed up and the other was lost. How you loose an almost 400lb couch is beyond me but after a ton of hassle I got a replacement sent out. It was sent out with a different transport company that is worse than the first one. The second couch also appears to be lost at this point and it’s January 9th now. The couch is amazing and my wife loves it too (she was initially opposed to buying this). It’s the Cadillac of couches but Amazon is shipping it with companies that likely only exist because of Amazon and otherwise would be out of business. The mishandling of this order will assure that I never order another piece of furniture off Amazon again. I highly recommend this couch, just buy it somewhere else and save yourself the nightmare. On a side note, getting this through the door in the box requires a 36 inch doorway with no obstructions (like a storm door piston bracket), it will almost touch both sides of the doorway. Assembly is pretty simple and the couch backs are in the box, you will have to snap them into place. The box dimensions are about 3 feet by 3 feet by about 7 feet (not exactly but very close). There are 3 plugs that have to go into the wall so you will need to have a double gang outlet box with 3 receptacles available or buy a surge strip or outlet adapter if you don’t have that. If you have a hardwood floor as I do, I highly recommend buying rubber friction pads for the feet to prevent sliding. If you decide to buy from Amazon I was told by the first shipping company that they cannot deliver it into the house if it’s not in the box (for some reason). Just know that if you don’t have a 36 inch doorway and want to take it in the house in pieces you will probably have to do that yourself and will probably need more than 1 person to do it and some dollie’s, it’s very heavy. Update: 1/18/25 The replacement couch that was sent got sent back by Amazon before delivery due to heavy damage. A new replacement couch was sent out and finally delivered on 1/18/25. The shipping company, begins with an R and ends with an O, did not want to bring the couch in the house and insisted on dropping it off in the driveway. After telling them it was supposed to be delivered inside and showing them one was already in the living room they finally agreed reluctantly to bring it inside. I’ll never buy another item off amazon that requires freight service again. Amazon picks the cheapest delivery service and you get what they pay for. It’s just not worth the savings to deal with these frustrating, careless and incompetent companies. ... show more
