This swivel chair was a great addition to my living room sectional. It is perfectly huge. It's soft and cozy, I can curl up on and sleep throughout the night. The fabric gives more of a gray white than ivory. It’s very sturdy, firm cushion, but the pillows are horrendous. Why not just match the chair?! I thought I’ll take the covers off and replace them …. Well guess what, there’s no inner pillow case. The decorative cover is the ONLY cover for the pillows - when you unzip them it’s just straight filling - nothing in between. So IF you just so happened to spill or stain them, taking them off to wash wouldn’t be an option, you’d literally have to pull out tons of stuffing. How stupid is that!? What’s the point of them even having a zipper on the pillow. You’d think a big furniture company wouldn’t sell pillows like that. If you’re bothered by small details like me, you’ll also hate the way the fabric meets at the front of the cushion from the top piece to the side. Sigh, it’s not a deal breaker but it’s annoying. I originally got the chair bc I like the design of the backing with the pillows, other barrel chairs had weird backs. This one also swivels quite well and holds a lot of weight. This chair is ginormous! It's probably too big for our living room. But...it's soooo comfy that we still love it. Everybody wants to sit in it as soon as they see it. It's very high quality with great pillows. I wish the color was a bit more beige. I though it would be warmer based on the photos. But it's probably just my screen settings. It's definitely more of a cool gray. Extremely cozy. But huge! I paid extra to have them set it up in the room and immediately take it away if we decided not to keep it. That was the option. But when they delivered it, they were out of here QUICK. Because they did not want to take this giant thing back out. So I didn't have much time to think about whether it fits in here. I was sure this was going to be too big for this space. It is very large. However, it's a low profile so doesn't seem abnoxious. Our entire family loves this thing from reading to video games to little naps. The material is soft and the swivel is very smooth. I didn't like the black pillows and I turned around the designed pillow (looks like the '80s) and the back side is beautiful, soft and in the same material as the chair. ... show more
