Right out of the box, I was impressed. It expanded fast, had barely any smell, and the cover felt super soft and well-made. Below are my thoughts broken down. I am very picky with my sleep, so if you are too, enjoy! • Firmness: Just right! firm enough to support, but soft enough to feel cozy. • Cooling: I’m usually a hot sleeper, but this stayed cool all night. • Motion: Barely felt my partner move at all. Big win. Great for back or side sleepers who want support without feeling like they’re sinking. I’m a side sleeper, my wife is a back sleeper. We both love it. I’ve had a nectar and Caspar in the past, both are 4x the price and not as good. The value here is insane! Edge support isn’t amazing but that is pretty standard with any memory foam mattress. Final Thoughts: Super comfy, cool, and affordable. I’d absolutely buy it again.

Edit: It's been 4 years and we still LOVE these mattresses! Also had a friend stay over, go home and buy the same mattress for their house! *All attached photos were taken within 4 hours of unpacking* Only time will tell how this mattress holds up but I am very pleased thus far. I bought two 12" full size for my kids (this listing) and a king size 12" Elite for myself & spouse (separate listing) all on a Cyber Monday sale. These are our first memory foam mattresses and I completed an exhaustive amount of research for the better part of a year before settling on these. Upon delivery, these were well packaged. The mattresses each came in a clear bag which was shrinkwrapped around them. They were then rolled and covered in a durable milky-colored plastic and finally boxed in a clearly marked manufacturer's box. We brought the kid's beds in to sit at room temp for a day before unpacking. Each came with clear (albeit unneccessary) instructuons on how to set up. I would highly reccommend if you bought the bed in winter to let it get to room temp before unpacking. It speeds up the recovery proccess tremendously. The kid's beds were up in a matter of minutes with the corners lagging slightly. Ours, which sat in my car in the cold a few days, took longer. Regardless, none of the three took the full 48 hours which is referenced in the packaging. I read a lot about foam beds having an odor. I did not experience an odor with any of these in the slightest, even when first opening. You will want deep pocket sheets/pads/protectors. We have a variety of linens and regular sheets just do not cut it with these. Ashley did not cut any corners on standard bed size measurements and all of these fully fit the frame they are on, one is actually slightly too big. That coupled with the height, you need deep pocket sheets. The beds offer pressure relief but don't suck you in. I like a firm bed and I would classify these as firm. It's my hope that a firmer bed will last longer. The beds do respond to more weight/pressure but certainly aren't pillowy soft. I felt like I was able to change posotions easily. A parter's weight/movements can still be felt but not to the extent of an interspring. Choice of foundation will probably impact this as well. These do not sleep too hot for us. However, being children's beds, they are not loaded down with heavy blankets and comforters so I can't speak to how they might retain heat if that was the case. As I said, time will be the biggest test. Our previous $1,200 mattress lasted less than 4 years. Hell, for $150/bed this was worth the gamble. Comparatively, these only have to last 6 months to be equivalent in price longevity. TL/DR....Reasons for buying: Price, brand/company I have heard of, all foam construction with thick dense base.

It does have a bit of offgassing which dissipates quickly. This is our second mattress. We were really pleased with the first so we bought another for the second bedroom. It is definitely a firm mattress, but I wake up without back pain.

One year review: Firm but too firm. If you think you want firm because of back pain. Think again it may be too firm for you. I had back pain and bought this mattress. It is OK material and it’s holding on as new after a year. For reference I bought 12 inch queen. I think the website in Amazon says firm and their official website says medium. But it is extra firm. Other than that it is good.

First of all, here's what you guys should know before I get started. Before I bought this bed, I had a Lull Mattress that cost me over $600 altogether. I loved that bed with a passion and was the greatest bed I ever used..... until I got this one. See, I moved at the beginning of last year (2020) and I lost my Lull Mattress in the process. I still don't know how or why it happened, but I lost the mattress and I needed a new one for my new room. However, being short on money with all my other moving expenses and stuff at the time, I looked for a great alternative; this was it. For being roughly a third of the price I bought this mattress. It shipped quick and arrived in box just like the Lull Mattress I once had. Unpacking and expanding it was the same process. Just take it out of the box, unroll it, and cut the plastic. Boom, watch as magic unfolds before your eyes as the mattress takes its form. The bed will increase inch by inch and will reach its complete size and firmness in about 12-24 hours. A thing to note, however, is that this bed does still have a slight chemical smell to it for the first couple days before it wears down. I do not know if that is the smell of the foam itself or the way it was packaged, but just know that the smell is unavoidable for the first couple of nights. Anyway, the bed is incredible. I know I already mentioned that, but it is worth repeating. Like a gift from the Heaven of ultimate value and comfort, this was exactly that. Crafted by the angels, it feels like a cloud once you lay down upon it and you will get the urge to play a harp and wear a halo over your head shortly after. It truly is amazing but in all seriousness, I love the bed because it is exactly what I like. Mind you, what I like may not be what everyone else likes. This bed is entirely 100% foam, but not all of it is the same type of foam. The main foundation of the bed is a rigid, firm foam that makes up the overall support of the bed and in the middle there is like a half-and-half type of foam, not the cream you put in your coffee, but it is like a middle ground between the softness of the top layer of memory foam and the firmness of the support foam. Then, the top layer as mentioned in a shallow-but-adequate layer of soft, high quality memory foam. Not the type that you would immediately sink in, but the kind that slowly/gently sinks in and then slowly rises back up to retain it's shape once your weight has been removed. All these layers are what makes this bed absolutely breathtaking. When you first sit on it, as if you were sitting on the edge, it may appear to sink in a lot, but once you stretch your body across it, you will feel the firmness of the bed overall and the support it has in keeping your body in place. Now, I know some people prefer super soft beds that re-align your spine to the equivalent of an 80 year old man, and I know some prefer to sleep on beds as hard as concrete, but this is the best middle ground. It has the comfort of softer beds but without the back aches you would have when waking up in the morning, and it has the support and firmness of a giant hand cradling your tiny body. So, I overall really enjoy the bed. It has the exact same form and build as my Lull Mattress BUT at a much more affordable price. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a high quality brand name like mattress who do not want to spend too much money. And for those wondering if the lower price means cheap quality, worry not. These are NOTHING like the horrible cheap foam mattresses you can get at Wal-Mart for like $90 bucks. These are supreme quality and there is simply nothing else like it at this price factor. If I was to have any complaints, it is that the foam can get a bit warm during the summer time as it is a good insulator, but other than that it is the bed I would recommend above all.
