First of all, here's what you guys should know before I get started. Before I bought this bed, I had a Lull Mattress that cost me over $600 altogether. I loved that bed with a passion and was the greatest bed I ever used..... until I got this one. See, I moved at the beginning of last year (2020) and I lost my Lull Mattress in the process. I still don't know how or why it happened, but I lost the mattress and I needed a new one for my new room. However, being short on money with all my other moving expenses and stuff at the time, I looked for a great alternative; this was it. For being roughly a third of the price I bought this mattress. It shipped quick and arrived in box just like the Lull Mattress I once had. Unpacking and expanding it was the same process. Just take it out of the box, unroll it, and cut the plastic. Boom, watch as magic unfolds before your eyes as the mattress takes its form. The bed will increase inch by inch and will reach its complete size and firmness in about 12-24 hours. A thing to note, however, is that this bed does still have a slight chemical smell to it for the first couple days before it wears down. I do not know if that is the smell of the foam itself or the way it was packaged, but just know that the smell is unavoidable for the first couple of nights. Anyway, the bed is incredible. I know I already mentioned that, but it is worth repeating. Like a gift from the Heaven of ultimate value and comfort, this was exactly that. Crafted by the angels, it feels like a cloud once you lay down upon it and you will get the urge to play a harp and wear a halo over your head shortly after. It truly is amazing but in all seriousness, I love the bed because it is exactly what I like. Mind you, what I like may not be what everyone else likes. This bed is entirely 100% foam, but not all of it is the same type of foam. The main foundation of the bed is a rigid, firm foam that makes up the overall support of the bed and in the middle there is like a half-and-half type of foam, not the cream you put in your coffee, but it is like a middle ground between the softness of the top layer of memory foam and the firmness of the support foam. Then, the top layer as mentioned in a shallow-but-adequate layer of soft, high quality memory foam. Not the type that you would immediately sink in, but the kind that slowly/gently sinks in and then slowly rises back up to retain it's shape once your weight has been removed. All these layers are what makes this bed absolutely breathtaking. When you first sit on it, as if you were sitting on the edge, it may appear to sink in a lot, but once you stretch your body across it, you will feel the firmness of the bed overall and the support it has in keeping your body in place. Now, I know some people prefer super soft beds that re-align your spine to the equivalent of an 80 year old man, and I know some prefer to sleep on beds as hard as concrete, but this is the best middle ground. It has the comfort of softer beds but without the back aches you would have when waking up in the morning, and it has the support and firmness of a giant hand cradling your tiny body. So, I overall really enjoy the bed. It has the exact same form and build as my Lull Mattress BUT at a much more affordable price. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a high quality brand name like mattress who do not want to spend too much money. And for those wondering if the lower price means cheap quality, worry not. These are NOTHING like the horrible cheap foam mattresses you can get at Wal-Mart for like $90 bucks. These are supreme quality and there is simply nothing else like it at this price factor. If I was to have any complaints, it is that the foam can get a bit warm during the summer time as it is a good insulator, but other than that it is the bed I would recommend above all. I’ve had this mattress for 3 months now, and I love it! It has the support of a spring mattress, but the convenience of a foam mattress delivery! I have the 10” Queen, and it supports my bad back. It’s comfortable for me to sleep on my back, side, and get this, stomach! Something I couldn’t do on the other online foam mattresses because this one is more supportive. It’s firm inside with a comfy top that’s not too thick. It’s also the perfect size to easily fit inside those plastic mattress protectors. If I move, I will just buy another one rather than pay movers. I hope they put it back in stock soon. ... show more

I had purchased two of these twin sized mattresses for kids bunk beds. 100% satisfied. Great price, great quality. Although I have Prime, the offer for these items was free shipping and wasn’t expected for delivery 10 days out - we were delighted to receive 4 days later. I have a queen sized Tempur-Pedic mattress I paid over $2500 for, and when it’s time to replace, I would personally consider purchasing the Chime mattress for myself in the future. The comfort in my opinion is equal for a similar quality of memory foam and support. These Chime 10-inch mattresses also form to shape with your body temperature, like the Tempur-Pedic, and we are fans of this. I am a side sleeper, but I usually start out on my back and also sleep on my stomach. So yes, your body temperature will mold your body to the mattress and take a moment to adjust to your sleep position (if you are not familiar to the feeling of how these mattresses work). Set-up was a breeze. I am a female and approximately 130 lbs., and I love the convenience and ease with deliveries to my door. After removing the plastic packaged mattress from the box, I had rolled out the compressed mattress onto the platform of the top bunk bed. While unrolling, a separate layer of plastic was removed. Once the mattress was in place, I cut away from the mattress on the top end - air immediately started to fill up the mattress - the decompressing begins. Then I cut the plastic on the opposite end to allow more air to fill up within the mattress. After each end was exposed and nearly full, I had carefully cut away from the mattress on one of the sides before I was able to remove the plastic entirely from the mattress. Each twin mattress literally took 2-3 minutes to appear to its full size, but this could take a few to several hours before the mattress has reached its full effect depending on the mattress size you have purchased. I have shared our one minute ‘Mattress in Minutes!’ video. The first photo with my review I am sharing was taken after the video, and the second photo with my 8 year old lying on mattress is after 5 minutes from start. No defects. We have mattress protectors for each. In addition, these 10-inch mattresses fit standard size sheet sets perfectly. No issues with the fitted sheet inching, even with the bumper we have tucked under the fitted sheet on the top bunk. The fitted sheet has kept the bumper secured for the last week as well, so we’re not having to adjust the bumper daily like our previous mattress. Other reviews had mentioned an odor - this is a light odor from manufacturing/packaging. However, like other mattresses, the scent goes away after a couple days and has not been noticeable after a week. I do wish there were handles on the sides of the mattress to easily shift/move/adjust, like my bed has, but it’s not a deal breaker. My kids love their new mattresses, and have been sleeping like a dream. While hunting for a mattress like mine without the price tag, hours of researching and reading reviews, I am pleased with our purchase of Ashley’s Chime and have absolutely no regrets.
