I’ve had this sweet little guitar for about a week and can’t leave it alone. It’s a joy to play. I’m bewildered by how they can make a guitar this good for such a low price. I’ve been playing a long time and have several guitars including some high end ones – Martin, Gibson, Gallagher, Collings, so I have some pretty good context for comparisons. The tone, intonation, projection, and playability of this little thing is excellent for it’s size. The overall cut and finish is exquisite. It’s lovely. Even the frets are finished just about perfectly. The tuners seem to be generic but appear to be quality - they’re finely geared, smooth, and they hold. It even comes with high quality strings. The packaging is custom designed for this guitar with a heavy-duty cardboard box, good Foam shock padding , and a protective cover for the guitar. The strings are even carefully wrapped. It has obviously been done with great care and consideration - I’d say a reflection of Sigma’s dedication to quality. It’s all dumbfounding considering it’s price. Is it equal to a Taylor mini or Martin 000 Jr? Not quite – but damn close – and take another look at the price. I love my high end guitars but I gotta say I’m a big Sigma fan now as well. PS. Several reviews mention some string buzz and have sent the guitar back. Mine had some buzz too. But I think they relieve the neck tension along with loosening the strings to minimize the chance of damage during shipping. They even provide a hex wrench for the truss rod. This is the second time I ordered this item. The first time only the guitar was shipped even though Amazon clearly states it comes with a gig bag, tuner, picks, and cleaning cloth. The only option Amazon gave me was to return the item. So I returned the guitar and ordered it again. Lo and behold, all I received the second time was the guitar. The guitar itself is decent. It sounds good,, plays nice and is quite beautiful. The Dao wood is stunning. The pick guard is a cheap vinyl appliqué and was pealing off when I opened the package. I anticipate it coming off at some point. Good choice for a youth or beginner. I’m not sure if I’m going to keep the guitar. Originally I wanted it for our grandson but I’m considering using it for a travel guitar. Of course you need a gig bag or case for a traveler, which this doesn’t have. I could by a gig bag separately, but if I do, this isn’t that good of a deal. I don’t know if it’s the fault of Walter’s Music or Amazon, but it’s frustrating not getting what was advertised.

Sigma did a fabulous job with this model but don't hesitate to exchange if you get a dud (like I did). The 3/4 Junior sits somewhere between a Baby Taylor or Little Martin and the Taylor GS Mini in regards to size. It does not come with a bag but is incredibly pretty and playable right out of the box. It feels great in hand and is resonant and bright with plenty of sustain. This is a travel guitar and will not sound like a full-sized guitar and does not have a present low end. However, I found it pleasing to look at and listen to and fun to play. This would be excellent for a young person, campfire, office, travel, or couch guitar. Well done, Sigma.

The media could not be loaded. I like everything about it. It sounds great, plays great, it's extremely comfortable, and it's beautiful. It punches way above its weight for how affordable it is! This is an amazing deal for a smaller body guitar. I've had trouble finding time to do the video review because every time I pick it up, I start playing and lose track of time. (It's really fun to play) My favorite part though is that I can sit in a regular chair and play guitar! With it's smaller size, I think it would be great for kids, for women who might be uncomfortable with a big dreadnaught, or for people who want an incredible travel guitar. It's perfect!

The media could not be loaded. Just got the guitar and sadly disappointed by the fact that there is terrible buzzing at the 12th-14th frets across most strings. Not sure if it's a setup issue or the frets themselves but I'd expect the guitar to pass inspection, which this one clearly does not. Other than that the guitar seems well put together and looks nice. Will be returning it for a replacement. UPDATE: I got a replacement guitar and unfortunately it has the exact same problem but on different frets. This time frets one and two are completely unusable, terrible buzz. I don't recommend these guitars at all!

It was a nuisance finally getting my hands on the guitar… they first shipped the wrong guitar, then the next one was lost in shipping, and finally this one. Now that I have it I’m satisfied for the price since I just needed a beater and travel guitar. The original setup wasn’t bad… decent action. Fret ends are not bad at this price point but could use some smoothing and polishing. The top is decent but has a slight warpy unevenness and the headstock has a fairly ugly stain discoloration… maybe an error in finishing or just open wood grain (not worth returning given the 3 weeks it took for this one to get here). Those are all the QC issues that are minor and ok in a guitar at this price. It plays pretty well, has a neck shape that suits my hands, and sounds pretty good for a smaller body size. QC and sound are not as good as a Firefly I have but that guitar is more money and too big for travel. I had hoped for a little better QC given the reviews but it’s good for my purposes. MUCH better guitar than a Jim Dandy I tried out. If you need an inexpensive smaller guitar it’s worth considering.
