  • This is the best lens I’ve ever used
A little bit too heavy, but the quality beats all of that. My YouTube video quality has transcended to another level. Love it.

  • Solid buy
Picture shot at f1.4 for testing purposes. Focused on the rim. Camera: Sony A7R II Really really really love this lense. Purchased for traveling overseas. Lense itself is a little on the heavy side but then again, it wasn't originally designed for my sony, basically slapped an E mount on it and called it a day. But for the price, sharpness and BOKEH! This lense kicks ass. ... show more

  • The perfect wide angle lens
Great lens for your full frame Sony camera. The picture quality is excellent. 24mm provides a perfect viewing angle similar to your phone camera. It is a wide angle lens, but it does not distort the picture like a gopro does. Good, fast autofocus. Great build quality. If you have the money for it, go ahead and buy it, you will not be disappointed with this lens. ... show more

  • Makes my 12mp A7sii look like 24mp!
This lens is so sharp, it makes my 12mp A7sii look like 24mp. Amazingly smooth bokeh in photos and video. Even at f/1.4 it still has less vignetting than my Sony 50mm f/1.8 (added vignetting to sample photos in post). Ill be keeping and using this lens for a long time! Sample photos are all at f/1.4. ... show more

  • I really like this lens
This is one of my favorite lenses I own. Definitely holds up to the best lenses in my kit. And I have a few Sony G Masters in there too. I'm not attaching pictures (sorry). But I've recommended this lens to multiple friends and I love it. Great value. Great images. Super fast. It's an awesome lens.

  • Exceeded my expectations
I bought this lens at first because the Sony 24mm 1.4 was still backordered. I thought I was "settling", but after only a week of using this on my a7iii, I don't think I'll even bother with the much more expensive Sony. I'm very impressed with the clarity and also how seemlessly it works with the a7iii's autofocus system. Don't hesitate if you're considering this -- it's a very reasonable price for the quality. ... show more

  • Sharp but at what cost
I was getting this for my A7RII and made a hasty decision with the Buy button. It came in and I was in shock: this thing is huge and heavy. For professionals, I'm sure this is commonplace and understood but for me was simply unacceptable. And at what cost? Comparing optical performance and transitivity with the Sony 28mm f/2, I knew I made a mistake, so I ended up returning this unit in favor of the smaller factory fit. Sigma make some of my all time favorite lenses, no doubt about it. But 1.5lbs sticking out that far from the grip is going put the hurt on your wrists after even just a little bit of usage. ... show more

  • Sigma Art lenses Rock
This one follows suite with it's counterpart. I have the 35mm, 135mm and this one is just as great. Super sharp all the way around, great build quality.
