  • Great
It was cool

  • Best for weddings and portrait photography Best for weddings and portrait photography
Amazing lens. A photographers must have. The zoom range is perfect for wedding or portrait photography. Best price compared to a GII, and focus performance is outstandingly fast. I will say that the lens is a bit heavy but nothing crazy. Worth every penny in my opinion.

  • Fantastic lens for half the price of a G II
This is the first lens I purchased to go with my A7R V and I am definitely not disappointed. It is fast, sharp and provides the focal range that I use most. There are a ton of YouTube reviews online and I would suggest watching them.

Happy Wedding Videographer - Very happy. Lens is in perfect condition and was quickly delivered.

  • Lens does not work + bad condition
Lens wont change past 35mm and there is dust inside the lens. Disappointing, I saw there was another review with the same issue. It seems like that order was returned and then shipped it to me. Wont be buying used from amazon again.

  • Great overall but sucks dust inside lens
It's probably the best 24-70 for the money. Great IQ, but corner sharpness wide open at the wide end could be better. But the reason I give it only 3 stars is a persisting with this lens from the moment they started selling it is the dust problem. I used the lens twice, carefully and not the very dusty environment. I came home and there was a few dust specks UNDER the front glass. I know, extending lenses from all manufacturers can have these problems. But I did some digging and from what everyone tells and writes, this lens have this problem to a much higher degree which I experienced rather quickly myself. And I checked, I got the revised version, with , supposedly new seals, because at the beginning this lenses were sucking dust like vacuum. But even the new revision didn't help. Other lens makers did get rid of that problem for the most, even the cheaper Tamron, but not Sigma. There is a quick way to clean that dust, but you have to disassemble top part of the lens to get to the back of the front glass. But it's not a thing you want to do with LENS, very precise tool, by yourself. And I'm not even considering going through the hustle of shipping this lens to Sigma for them to look at it, decide if it's worth their time (without thinking about my time) and clean it. Or do it in some other shop and thus pay for the job. Fortunately I could return it which I did and will be waiting for new 28-75 by tamron, which I hope will close the gap in sharpness with sigma and remain dust problem free as their first 28-75. ... show more

  • Terrible QC for Renwed Lens

  • Won’t Zoom Correctly
It came like this. We couldn’t find anything on how to fix other than dismantling the entire lens.
