  • This is my primary lens now
Style: Sony E
Wonderful lens. Already replaced my other prime lens. I wish it could zoom a bit more and I would have replaced my other zoom lens with this too.

  • A very solid lens
Style: Sony E
Fantastic little lens. Great value for anyone who owns an FX30, a6700 or ZV-e10 II. Personally, I've been using it as my 4k 60 lens on my FX2. Really brings that camera to life in that mode. A really great professional lens, phenomenal build quality. It has all the features I require for pro-use (aperture ring, function buttons, full compatibility with Sony cameras). The look of this lens is a bit more clinical than I was expecting given it predecessor and the 28-45 f/1.8 (which I also adore), but no real complaints at all, this is going to see many miles put on it in 2026. ... show more

  • My favorite new lens
Style: Sony E
Waited for almost 40 days to get this lens for e mount, i love it so far and i with it was 18-50 but still good range, focus speed is exceptional, im taking one star because i received the item with a noticeable second hand use, and the LoCA is strong on closeup.

  • Best APS-C lens?
Style: Sony E
Cristal clear images. A bit large and heavy but it is a good trade off. Easy the best APS-C lens in the market.

  • Sigma 17-40mm f1.8 🔥
Style: Sony E
This lens has so much hype! So far I think the hype is real. I disagree with people that say “this lens is too big” and “it defeats the purpose of apsc.” This lens is in its own league and I don’t think anything compares to it at the moment. I also own the Tamron 17-70mm f2.8 and side by side the Tamron feels a tiny bit heavier and a tiny bit more thicker. So if you’re worried about the size of this lens, hopefully this review helps you out. But for someone that might be coming from a Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 then this lens may seem huge at first, considering the 17-40mm is about twice the size. ... show more

This lens is what I have read about on threads, but once received it has changed my photography and videos tremendously.

  • Sigma’s super fast aps-c zoom lens!
Style: Sony E
This is easily going to be one of my top used lenses. It’s perfectly weighted, sharp as a tack and fast! It’s nearly a prime lens at f1.8. The 17-40mm isn’t the most appealing considering it’s roughly a 25.5-60mm equivalent and most zooms in this range are usually 24-75mm. However, it’s somewhat compensated by the fact that the lens’ zoom is completely internal. ... show more
