This is my second putter in about 8 months. My current putter is a Spider putter ($250) and i am very happy with it, BUT, I really wanted to try a centerline shaft putter and my research and a recommendation from a friend led me to the Cleveland HB Soft #2 11C ($147). I got it Friday and putted with it in a 2 man scramble on Saturday. I have a putting green at my house so I practiced with it for about 30 mins Friday night at about 4 feet distance going 360 degrees around the hole. I hit about 85%. If you've seen me putt, that's a great percentage :). Saturday I hit 3 putts over 15 feet, one of 25 feet. My feel for the putter was really good. The line on the putter and the straight shaft makes for a true line that was easy for me to follow and when I missed I could see why. I will also say the milled face gives you greater control and helps makes the misses much smaller. I highly recommend this putter! It looks great and feels great! UPDATE 05/24/24: I wa asked if it came with a putter cover. It does and here are some pics.

Haven’t bought a putter in 35 years (White Hot blade). Technology is a beautiful thing! As soon as I sat in down on my carpet, I fell in love. Love the balance. Easy to align (I’ve had to change my setup to adjust). The entire face is solid. Let’s face it, how many 17 handicaps hit it center every time. I actually feel more comfortable over lag putts! Add in the price (>$50 off the price at Golf Galaxy) and you just can’t buy a better economical putter that performs this well for a golfer like me! Why would I spend $459+ when playing to my level🤣

I'm in for a 4.5 on this one. I put pretty consistently and carry a 9.1 index. I was having problems keeping my strike square 90 degrees down my line which is always my preferred strike regardless of the break. This putter helped and I can reliably swap it in the bag when desired with consistent results. However, having putted with mostly Taylor Made soft inserts most of my golf career, the feel off this face is dramatically different for obvious reasons, as is the sound. Sometimes it's just a matter of personal preference for this reason. Otherwise, the balance preventing twist on this I would say is above average.

One round with this Cleveland gem of a putter and I am immediately placing it in my permanent bag above my Scotty Cameron Newport 2 that I’ve played for almost 20 years. Today I made six long range putts with this putter that I probably would have missed otherwise. The reason I think is the pure face balance and the heavier putter weight that allows the clubhead to arc perfectly—and easily and repeatably—through the hitting zone. I’m a good green reader and it just gives me so much confidence now that when I read the line and speed I feel like I am going to make the putt! It’s such a great feeling! My playing partner just couldn’t stop grinning in disbelief at all the putts I was making. I have no idea how a $139 putter is better than a $400 Scotty but it is. Before I bought it I read the favorable reviews so let me just add mine to the mix. This putter is a steal! It is a professional putter that you will not regret putting in your bag. Cheers.

I picked up the Cleveland Golf HB Soft 2 #11 OS 35" RH a few weeks ago, and I’ve been loving it ever since. Right out of the box, it’s got this sleek, no-nonsense look that makes you feel confident standing over the ball. The oversized grip fits my hands perfectly—seriously, it’s like it was made for me—and it keeps everything steady through the stroke. I’m a straight-back, straight-through kind of putter, and this thing’s face-balanced design lines up so naturally it’s almost unfair. The feel off the face is fantastic, too. It’s soft but still gives you that solid feedback you want when you strike it pure. I’ve noticed my distance control’s gotten way better, especially on those tricky 10- to 15-footers—lag putts aren’t a guessing game anymore. Plus, the alignment lines are spot-on without being distracting. I’ve sunk more putts in my last few rounds than I have all season, and I’m pretty sure this beauty’s to thank. For the price, it’s a steal—Cleveland really knocked it out of the park with this one!
