Description

The ROMEO7 features a 1.41" and 1.63" co-witness hex mount and a 2 MOA red dot with 9 daylight settings and 2 night vision settings. Built for hard duty and fast target engagements the ROMEO7 features a 2 MOA red dot that is large enough to see in any lighting condition and small enough to not obscure your target. This allows for a more precise point of aim at greater distance. Fully coated lenses increase light transmission and dot visibility in all lighting conditions. The back loading battery compartment is easily accessible. The user-facing brightness knob lets you adjust the illumination level while keeping your head on the rifle. Battery life is estimated at up to 50,000 hours. For competition or duty use the ROMEO7 compact red dot sight offers shooters a robust 1x aiming solution for any situation. Unlimited eye-relief means you can mount the optic anywhere on the top rail based on your preference. Ultra-low parallax keeps the dot, point of aim, and point of impact consistent no matter your eye position relative to the optical axis of the sight. Waterproof and fog-proof, the ROMEO7 has an IPX7 rating for complete immersion up to 1 meter. For fast and accurate target engagements it is hard to beat a ROMEO7.

I expected much better from Romeo 7s. The red dot is blurry; there is no solid dot; it is doubling. It feels like a cheap Chinese clone, although it is authentic. The Romeo 5 is much better compared to 7s.

I always liked the Romeo 7, except the heavy weight. This 7S compact version is just what I was looking for, a compact 2MOA red dot scope that uses a single AAA battery and has the brightness adjuster on the back right! All of these features makes this a seriously great red dot scope and the mounting nut is heavy duty, unlike many other brands. If you are looking for a review because you've seen the bad ones about haloing and sunburst don't worry about it. If set to the correct brightness for he environment the dot is nice and clear and gives a good sight picture.

    • Should be called halo 7 not Romeo 7
Every time I buy something other than leupold I am disappointed, thankfully this is going on a truck gun so if it breaks off I won’t be upset. All I see is a halo no matter the setting. The sooner this piece of junk fails the sooner I’ll replace it with a leupold but until then we’ll see how long it lasts. For $100 more buy the leupold RDS for a budget red dot and get 10x the quality. I wanted a cheap red dot and and I was sent a cheap red dot, honestly I should of got a sight mark for $70 over this damn thing. It’s a shame that such a great company like sig sauer would put their name on such garbage. ... show more

Perfect alternative to Holosun without comprising quality for price. I am sure Sig will raise the price on this eventually....Very tactile adjustments for windage and elevation, the brightness adjustment is in the perfect location. Word of advice, ditch the mount it is bulky, heavy and useless. Find any lightweight T1 mount and you are set..... Holds zero perfectly on my 11.5". ... show more
