Very comfortable and unfolds from box quickly. Handles on side make it easy to move or rotate. After about 6 months of use, I am very pleased. Minor negatives but not deal breakers: sleeping surface is one sided; seams around edges connecting sleeping surface to sides are thick and raised, creating a raised lip around sleeping surface. Lip has no been bothersome to me and appears to be intended to create a more durable seam between sleeping surface and side.

I don't normally leave reviews on anything. But when it comes to deciding a mattress, it's a long term investment. Your sleep is dependent on whether or not you like the mattress. And it's a large investment too, opting to get a higher quality one, and one that's long term, means you'll spend a lot of money. I spent a lot of time researching and deciding what I was going to get. I read tons of reviews and articles to decide what I was going to get. A Wirecutter article sent me here. And this was what I landed on. It's amazing, and perfect for side sleepers. My partner and I are able to get in and out without sinking into the middle. It's firm enough that I don't sink into it, but soft enough that I am comfortable when sleeping on my side. After unboxing, I followed the instructions and gave it a day to unfold. It didn't have a nasty smell, which was one of my primary concerns. I HATE that chemical smell that gets into your sheets and clothes and sticks in the whole room forever. I am writing this review 3 months later, and I still love the mattress. I'm a very light sleeper, and super picky with my pillows and my mattress. If you're a side sleeper, or light a slightly firmer mattress but one with some give to it, I highly recommend this one!

This bed was perfect for a 12yr old at 85lbs. She felt it was comfortable and she sleeps well on it. It supports her body perfectly. When I went to lay out with her it sunk a lot more and wasn’t that comfortable to me.

So far this is a great mattress, very comfortable. It came very securely wrapped and I followed the directions allowing it to fully self inflate . It’s a heavy mattress but even so , I was able to slide the box into the bedroom , and unbox on top of the new frame I also purchased from Amazon by myself. It would have been much easier with a helper but I was able to do it.I did not notice any odors after unwrapping and I’m very sensitive to smells. The edge support is not as firm as my traditional innerspring mattress but the body of the mattress is solid and I sleep great on it.

My husband and I decided to upgrade from our queen to a king bed as a christmas gift to ourselves. We ordered both the new frame and the mattress from amazon, and we saw that this one received good ratings. My husband regularly complained about our previous mattress and I tended to agree, that it was way too soft. It was a pillow top and it had become quite lumpy after nearly a decade of use. So fastforward-- we have been utilizing this bed now for about 3 weeks. He initially loved it and i absolutely hated it. It was way too hard for my tastes and he thought it was just perfect. I was getting maybe 2-3 hours a sleep, I felt like I was sleeping on a rock. I thought maybe it was the mattress, maybe because it was my first time sleeping on a platform style bed, we always had box springs, etc. Finally i snapped and begged to get a topper. We finally agreed on one from another nameless store...nothing too thick. I think it's maybe about 1.5". Well truly, this has made a BIG difference and even my husband said he thinks its a bit better too. Where am I going with this? We should have definitely went a little more middle ground with our mattress instead of totally firm. And that is our fault. BUT otherwise, if you need to, get a light topper for it, and you will be golden, because otherwise, this mattress has been great. It was easy to unbox, it puffed up, and we were able to put it right on to the new frame, it fit perfectly. We have several sets of sheets, and they all fit nicely on it. All in all, despite the fact that we did have to get a topper for the mattress, that is our fault, and truly, we have always had some sort of pad or thin topper on all of our mattresses to keep them clean/safe/etc, so Im sure at some point, I would have got one anyway. This is a very good mattress for the price!

Mattress shopping online is a whole thing as those reading reviews would know. I'd never bought a mattress or online or in a box. My last mattress was amazing, but started to wear after 10 years and 3 moves. I read reviews on Wirecutter, NapLab, Amazon, Wayfair, and consumer reports... to say I was overwhelmed was an understatement and was getting analysis paralysis. I eventually chose to try the Sienn as it seemed to meet the "plush + pillow top + high quality" combo I was after, even though some of the reviews were rough. I'm SO glad I did. I did sleep on it upside down for two nights and was prepared to return it until I saw that's someone else had done that, so I checked. I had indeed slept on the boxspring side for the first 2 nights, which is easier to do than one might think. Do not judge! I honestly suspect some of the other negative reviews may have done the same 😂 But this back & side-sleeping idiot is now LOVING it! Very well made and sturdy. Hard to believe this came in a box, then flipped upside down. It's now amazing. Highly recommend for those who are after plush / pillow tops. And you firm folks... bless you! I don't know how y'all do it. Life is too short for hard mattresses
