Wanted to wait a few months before reviewing. This pillow is great! It's like laying your head on a firm marshmallow so comfy and supportive. I really do not have anymore neck discomfort when turning my head side to side. Since I've had it I have washed the outer cover like 3-4 times. Never had a problem zipping it back on until the last time I washed it. Now the plastic zipper has separated and cannot be zipped closed.😒 I'm hoping the seller has replacement outer zippered covers available. I ordered these based on all the five star reviews. I really like these pillows but am not in love with them. There are two pillows in this set and they are not mini-pillows to me. There is also a package of cut up foam in case I want to put more of this foam in the pillow. In addition, there is a cloth backpack (see photo). These pillows are soft and comfortable to use. I love the crescent design. However, they are made of cut up foam. Had I known that, I might not have ordered them. I hate cut up foam. They also have a smell to them that I hope will go away over time. I am glad, however, that these are not mini in size. I consider them medium-sized pillows. The outer shell is a zippered pillowcase and then there is an interior white zippered cover holding the foam together. The extra foam can be added here. I waited until there was a discount on these before purchasing so the current price at the time I ordered was $37.49 plus tax (instead of $49.99 plus tax). For that price I think these are competitively priced. To me these are 3.5 stars rounded up to 4 stars. If this were solid memory foam and did not smell, then I would have rated them 5 stars. ... show more

I haven't written many reviews but I HAD to write one for this pillow. I have degenerative discs in my neck from C2-C7 and had a disc replacement at C5/C6 last December. I've tried cervical pillows that are basically solid memory foam, which are too firm and cause me to sleep even hotter than usual, which isn't helpful for someone already in perimenopause and already dealing with hot flashes at night! This pillow though! Not only is it thick enough to give the proper support for proper alignment, it stays firm and doesn't become flat throughout the night. I also did not get hot and wake up drowning in a sea of my own sweat throughout the night. The curve around the bottom of it allowed me to get my shoulder pressed up against the pillow and rest my hand on that front corner comfortably as well. It comes with additional fill that I have not had the need for yet, but is available if in time I need to add to it. My husband felt that he might need to remove some of the filling from his pillow for his comfort and a bag is actually supplied to hold any filling that you remove, so you can save it to add back later if you choose. The cover is incredibly soft and comfortable, but we still used pillow cases. I had the best night's sleep last night than I've had a very long time. I woke up this morning with the least amount of pain in my neck and shoulders than I have in months! If you have issues with your neck and shoulders, this pillow might just be what helps you! ... show more

Best pillow ever slept on. This is most comfortable pillow I have ever owned. Love love it. Supports my neck, helps align my whole body. I had spine surgery last year and needed a good pillow. Finally found the best pillow EVER! after about 100 pillows stacked in my garage. I FINALLY found that perfect semi flat pillow...it's so awesome. I've already got my friends and family ordering theirs. This is awesome for side sleepers. It's also great if u like more of a flat pillow. I personally cannot stand a big fluffy pillow. It hurts my neck so bad. I woke up after sleeping with this pillow, with absolutely no neck pain. And the curve in the pillow, makes it that much better. I actually got the travel size. I really like the shape and the option to add/take away foam. The problem is it smells strong. For some reason reminds me of chocolate but that's not what I want to smell all night. Currently airing it out in my room. On day 2 and it still smells weird.
