I have been using this pillow for many, many years, and they are always soft and comfortable! It might need a little breaking-in, but once that period is over, you will be sleeping very well. I found these pillows after I had spine surgery and still have other spine issues and after surgery a king size pillow was my saving grace and now 2 years later I got 2 queen size and let them sit for 36 hours because they are not very firm. They are rather lightweight compared to the King size. I lay my head and it immediately goes flat not much support maybe missing some filling? Great quality definitely not lacking there. Easy to use yes. Sadly I can't speak to pain relief on these Queen size pillows but the king size from years ago was perfect I'm curious as to what changes have been made. Cooling affect on point. I bought two pillows. They came in cylindrical zippered containers. I could not get them out. After struggling to pull them out or peel away, I gave up and cut away the containers. That is disappointing, because it was so wasteful. They should have been reusable. this is my first experience with memory foam. I was surprised at how hard the pillows were. Like cement! My first thought was, “This will be like sleeping on bricks! Where is the FOAM?” But after being out of the vacuum sealed plastic bag, they have expanded and softened.
