The pillows have a musty smell, like old damp towels. They are very comfortable and quite nicely plump and supportive. I would have given 5 stars. But I woke up in the middle of the night to this odor of old rags. I will let them air out today and if they keep the smell then I will return them. Update: the stickiness is gone because I pulled off the covers and washed and dried them on high heat. They look fine and now have no smell. The pillows are very plump and work well as back rests but are a bit too firm for sleeping. I think they are ok for what I paid. ... show more
