The colored lights are an additional feature that can be turned off if you want to conserve battery life (hold the color changing switch down for a few seconds until the light turns off).     • Cheap but a waste of time for everybody involved.
This had decent sound, the lights are completely stupid. This worked for about 3 weeks then just would not hold a charge, so now it is useless. Even with it plugged in, it still would not work. I had to take it to the UPS store in heavy traffic to return it. Selling junk is just a waste of time for so many people. It puts on a light show when working, WHO needs a light show from a speaker? I would prefer a better battery, over this gaudy, senseless "feature". I saw this as needless visual pollution and is mildly annoying. A simple on/off light is really all that is beneficial. They include operating instructions, but for a different model. Does anybody know of a simple speaker that actually works? ... show more

    • Power button stopped working
was very pleased and satisfied with the speaker until after 5 months the power button stopped working. It fails to turn off until battery dies. Very disappointed

I wanted this speaker for my classroom but ended up keeping it for myself. The color is great and quality is amazing. Great sound easy to use!! I got mine at a great prize, when I came back to buy another the prize had jumped. Oh well

    • Does not keep charge!
This speaker would not keep a charge after about 2 months. I have to have it plugged in so that it’s not constantly beeping. Therefore cannot use “in” the shower. Would not recommend.

For the price this is good but you get what you pay for. Unfortunately the sound quality was not that great. I love the color display and it was easy to connect but I just wish the speaker had better sound.
