I needed new headphones, .ones I could wear at the gym. I decided to get Bluetooth ones because working out with headphones tethered to my audio source — my cell phone — was awkward. I was skeptical of a BT device, though, because my previous experience persuaded me that the technology really wasn't ready for prime time — too many dropped connections and needing to re-pair, plus unstable volume, etc. Anyway, I am very glad I got these. No problems (so far) with pairing and maintaining the connection. And the audio is excellent in my opinion. Between the controls on my phone and the controls on the headphones themselves, I have more volume at my fingertips than I need. Now, most of my listening is to podcasts, but the little bit of music I've listened to sounded fine. The noise cancelling effect of these 'phones is not 100%, but that's OK. They cut out or drastically minimize most of the ambient noise at the gym, including the annoying music playing over the gym's speakers. I'm also impressed with how long they hold a charge. After 3 hours at the gym they are still going strong. I also take them on my daily 2-hour walks and have no worries that they will cut out during that time. I do like the fact that they come with a cable I can use in the event the BT drops. Their range is surprising, too. Once I left my phone at one of the weight machines and got all the way to my car before I realized I didn't have it, because the sound in the headphones was still strong and stable. Some of the features seem like overkill, in that I will probably never use them, but whatever ... some people may appreciate them. I'm thinking of the FM radio and the memory card slot. I just don't see myself fiddling with all the tiny controls to get anything out of them. They are pretty comfortable, too, up to a point. I find that after a couple of hours I feel one or both cups pressing too hard against my skull, but adjusting them usually helps ameliorate this. They're on the bulky side compared to what most others at my gym are wearing, but I could never get used to earbuds or anything less than full headphones; the bud-type things keep falling out of my ear canals. Despite my minor nitpicks, I give these 5 stars. They are better than what I dared hope, and for a reasonable price. ... show more

The color of the headphones is slightly darker than advertised. Also I can hear the buttons rattling anytime I move…I bought these for a road trip so I’m sure it will be annoying at some point. I thought the buttons would be for volume but I can’t understand their double purpose to switch the songs too. I don’t like the design for the buttons to be on the back of the headphones either because they are likely to be pushed when you lay on them. Overall the sound is good and they fit fairly comfortably. They are light weight and come in a beautiful carry case. The Bluetooth was easy to connect with no issues. I am unsure of how long the battery life but took less than 2.5 hours to charge completely. ... show more

These bluetooth over-the-ear headphones are lightweight, easily adjustable and comfortable. Their sound quality is excellent for audiobook listening, TV listening, etc. Bluetooth connectivity is excellent; these headphones have not even once spontaneously disconnected from our BT transmitter since we began using them a couple of weeks ago. They're a very good value. The controls, however, are not optimally designed. (See photo) An array of 4 buttons clustered on one headphone must be adjusted by "touch" because (of course) when the headset is being worn, you can't see the labels. The buttons feel identical, and are close to one another, so there's no tactile distinction while wearing the headset. It's very easy to press the wrong button when trying to adjust volume. (Pressing the "mode" button by mistake abruptly switches to "radio" or "telephone" mode, requiring removal of the headset to reset the "mode" to bluetooth.) Also, the buttons are "long-press" functions: When adjusting the volume, a "tap" on the button doesn't do the job; it requires a "long-press" or "hold." This, in turn, often results in overshooting the goal; it's hard to make just a small volume adjustment without sending the headset into super-loud or soft status. ... show more

I got this phone for my daughter for a 10 hour drive because she asked for noise canceling headphones to not hear her brother. I was more then happy to get her something if it ment less fighting. I was expecting her to have to switch from Bluetooth mode to the wire at one point but the battery lasted the whole trip! And the noise canceling aspect must have been enough because my 10 year old twins didn't fight once on the entire drive. I was pleasantly surprised now my son wants his own pair. ... show more

I have never had a previous set of wireless headphones so I have no frame of reference regarding the quality, noise reduction, etc. I just thought these things worked and sounded great - and they're very comfortable to wear. Anyway: My wife and I are probably the only two people on the planet who didn't understand that eventually these things would no longer hold a charge. We both had a pair and they both lasted about two years - mine just died within the last few days. I would think they could make a device like this with a small door where you could replace a battery. I checked around and I guess they exist but they're much more expensive. Anyway, for the price I guess two years of use isn't bad. Just know that they have a battery - probably lithium ion - that eventually makes them worthless. I'm a dummy - I didn't know. ... show more

I have owned 2 of these now the only complaint is after a year they stop working but other than that they are comfortable and work a long time after charging. Sound quality is good as well. Wish they would survive for more than a year, I am not rough on my head phones either.
