I’ve been in search of a duvet comforter for summer months got over a year and finally found this one. I live in south Texas and needed something that was fluffy but not hot. This seems to fit the bill. I will say that we use a portable AC in the room at night but I still get pretty warm with a comforter. Not with this one. I’m one that has always liked the plush duvet’s that I can bunch up around me like a cocoon but can’t do that in the summer months in Texas. This one may not be as fluffy but it’s enough to give that comfort feeling and breathable at the same time. I washed and dried this prior to use and it softened up a bit. As you can see from label not one word mention about “100% cotton” cover. The stitching is good around edges, it did fluff up well, it is thin and lightweight as described. Took some wrestling to get into duvet cover where it needs to be. It’s approximately 102 inches wide, approximately 87 inches wide. Size will vary on duvet and duvet covers depending on who manufactures and where. I may be sorry but can use for winter season with blanket. I may have another story to tell after washing. If I was going to do again would find one at local store and then I would know exactly what I was getting. It is probably not worth what I paid for, just saying. ... show more
