I learned about this filter from my hair dresser, as my hard water was affecting my hair and worse, my color treatments. It also made my hair feel like hay even when it was wet, clean, conditioned. I've been using my filter now for over two years. The filters last much longer than the advertised replacement, but when they get tired, you can immediately feel the difference in your hair and on your skin!
