This is not my favorite Shortie's scent, but that is no fault of theirs. I had no idea what to expect with sandalwood. I did not know what sandalwood would smell like. It is an odd woodsy babypowdery musky scent, not really something I enjoy. I am going to pass the rest of the block on to a friend and will keep using the Shortie's melts I know and love. The first thing I noticed was how big these melts are. They seem much bigger than some of the other brands I have gotten. Within a minute or two half of my house was filled with a wonderful clean scent. It is a clean but strong smell. \ The wax is incredibly soft, it melts as soon as it hits the warmer. I love that these come from a small family owned business. I would much rather support that than to give money to a store for some marked up chemical garbage. Mine lasted a pretty long time. I have had one cube on the warmer for six hours and I could still clearly smell it. These work fine in scentsy warmers, that is what I am using with mine. I am absolutely done with scentsy. I am looking forward to seeing what other scents Shortie's comes out with. Despite receiving these for a discount in exchange for my review, my review is based on the full price. I very rarely give 5 stars (as evidenced by my amazon profile), but these are worth the 5 stars. I have read other reviewers using multiple cubes at one time. I can not imagine doing this. I have a lot of Shortie's melts (Tahoe pine, eucalyptus leaf, mulberry, pomegranate, wisteria, rose petals, coconut lime verbena, sandalwood, carnation, and cucumber melon) and there is not a single one that I would use two cubes in one warmer. I do one cube on one side of the house, one on the other, and the scent permeates the entire house with no issue. Shortie's seems to be run by extremely nice people, putting out an extremely nice product. They are less expensive than most scentsy melts, and last WAY longer. There have been times I have forgotten to turn my warmer off at night and with most scents the next day smell is still noticeable.

I so rarely write reviews, but this one was soooo good I couldn't resist. I ordered the Nag Champa scent and it smells exactly like the classic incense that comes in the blue box. I have a small space and used one cube, it filled the kitchen and living room perfectly! I like it strong so I'm very pleased!

I was really hoping this sandalwood would be the one I could make my regular sandalwood wax melt purchase. But alas, tis not to be. The scent is just to weak and not the sandalwood scent I’m accustomed to. Maybe after wax has fully melted, there’s a somewhat of a strong scent, but it doesn’t last long at all. For myself, I like a strong scent, not overpowering, but strong enough to make a person comment if they walk into the room the wax melt is burning in. So, I’ll have to keep on looking, as there’s a product on Amazon which is pretty decent in the sandalwood wax melt department. Maybe I’ll just stay with that item. I don’t recommend this item.

Not a great scent. It seems like it'd be good, but it's not once it gets melted, and on top of that the scent does not last long at all (30 min tops). And that's not me going scent-blind, it genuinely loses its scent super fast.

I'm addicted. I must say oh my gosh... Not only did my package show up ahead of time and securely packed, but the smell, the smell is so beyond amazing. I've brought glade melts, Yankee melts, and some off brand melts and I must say that nothing I mean nothing tops Shortie's Candle Company melts. And yes I have read some of the reviews and people are saying save your money. They are soooo wrong. I swear I am in love. No more Glade, Yankee Candle and or off brands for me. These melts are soft and creamy and very easy to remove from the container unlike some other melts that I have tried. These slide right on out. The smell is so potent smell. I have a three bedroom house with a walk-in attic and full basement, over 2000 square feet of home. One day I left the house and came home as soon as I opened my screen door the smell met me before I entered my home. My personal opinion is buy and you'll be in love. Shortie's Candle Company keep up the good work. I'm in love... I received this product at a discount for my honest and unbiased review. The discount has not influenced or impacted my judgement of this product. I take this seriously and include my own opinion and experience with each product.
