I bought this after using a shokz open run, the open run would drop Bluetooth connectivity with my HP laptop during idle time. I have had mine for about 9 months now. With the dongle, the connection is reliable. A full charge will last two days of heavy use. Background noise such as voices or lawn equipment outside the house are not picked up as interference/noise, emptying the dishwasher does get noticed on the other side of a conversation. Overall sound quality is very good. The moveable boom mic with mute button is ideal for my needs. Bluetooth range is much better than dongle range. Last I checked the Apple Store, the shokz app still wasn’t fully functional to support easy transition between dongle and Bluetooth connections. It is not an inexpensive device but works well and is comfortable enough for daily meetings . It’s been a good investment for me. ... show more

I bought these for my husband. They were delivered today. These are plug and play, none of this pairing and downloading an app. None of that nonsense. I charged them to 100%. It took 40 minutes for full charge. They are good for 16 hours. They were paired at the factory, so literally all I had to do for him was plug in the little toggle, and turn them on by holding down the volume button. Immediately they said they were paired and ready. My husband has an 85% hearing loss, so he wears hearing aids. He also wears glasses. I pointed out the controls for him, which is only volume up or down. Easy. If he wants to shut them down, he holds the Volume up button for 3 seconds. TOO Easy. Since putting them on, he doesn't want to take them off. He even forgot he had them on, went into the kitchen, His movie was still playing, so even in the kitchen, he could hear it. He absolutely loves these. He says there is no feed back at all. He did say there was a little tickle from the volume on his cheek bones, but after about an hour, he says, it is good, and he doesn't even notice it. HE LOVES THESE. Seriously, I love them too. Before every headset I bought him, and I have lots of them. They all gave him feedback from his hearing aids, That feedback would hurt him so bad, he would jerk off the headset. We tried everything. And then, I found these. What a God Sent. We are both really happy with them. The other thing, my hearing is so sensitive when he had regular head phones on, I could hear everything. Now, I hear a faint whisper. I sit right behind him at my desk while he is watching his movies, so we are really close together. I like not hearing all that noise. Beyond happy with my purchase for my husband, and he is super pleased. Highly recommend these. Get this model if you do not want to fuss setting them up and pairing them to your device. Thanks again. I'm assuming the microphone is clear and background noise is cancelled as I haven't had any complaints from my customers saying they can't hear me. I’m constantly on the phone or in meetings for work so I’m using these M-F for 8 hour days. The battery lasts several days and they charge so fast, literally 5 minutes on the charger and the battery is full. The sound and microphone are both great, no background noise can be heard (even a train that goes by my house or the fire station alarm behind my house). They’re so comfortable, now my ears don’t hurt anymore. They come with durable portable case which is great to keep them protected because I take them with me on the days I work in office.     • USB Dongle does not work

If you are wanting to use the 2.4Ghz dongle instead of Bluetooth for a better response time, then find a different headset. After talking on these for about 5 to 10 minutes, it goes static and shrieks in your ear. If you unplug and replug the dongle then that fixes the issue for about another 5 to 10 minutes. Worked with their customer service and did a full reset of everything including having to download THEIR software to reattach the dongle to the headset since there is no way after their support had me reset the headset. Still failed to actively work. After looking at the reviews from others, I found a review from September 2025 with a customer having the same issue, so 3 months later and they have NOT fixed the issue. This seems to be a firmware issue with the mic since the headset could listen to music for an hour with no issues. Support was super slow and unresponsive to email, I had to contact them every time to get something done until I gave up and just returned to Amazon from the lack of interaction, resolution, and frustration. Did not test with Bluetooth, why do that when I paid extra for the dongle version. If I wanted to use bluetooth, I will get the less expensive version. ... show more

The sound occasionally and suddenly switches off and transitions to loud white noise. I have to turn the device off and then back on. The problem recurs about once per 1-2 hours of use.

This is one of my favorite purchases in years. I consider myself a "Recovering Musician", and have developed hearing deficiencies for certain frequencies. Sadly made of those are in the range most meeting software use for voice transmission. I finally thought I would try bone conduction to see if it helped my situation. Not only did it work, it worked EXTREMELY well for me. Everything is not very clear and intelligible. Even those with thick accents are easier to understand for me. While these are not on par with super hifi in terms of sound reproduction, they are surprisingly good sounding. And, they are comfortable enough to wear all day. An added benefit is they do not impede your natural hearing. You can where these and have a normal conversation with those around you. I often forget I'm wearing them. Understand these are not a replacement for traditional headphones. They serve a specific purpose, and for that purpose, they are fantastic.
