I love to cook, and wanted some decent, comfortable knives that could actually cut through meat without effort. These knives have no issues with slicing, dicing, and cutting almost anything I've thrown at them. The chefs knife splits raw chicken breasts like butter. The selection of knifes is great and I love the 8 steak knives. The only issue I've found with them, is when wet, the handle can become somewhat slick. I haven't had serious issues with this, but I do have fairly large hands, and I do grip knives fairly strongly. I would still buy them again, and actually might as a spare set for down the road. ... show more

They're pretty! They're super sharp! Do their job! But if I wash them in the dishwasher, they get little rust dots.. so it's better to hand wash them and dry them right after! Still great but I'd like for them to last!

I guess I expected chef quality cutting knives when I bought this. Was tired if squashing my tomatoes. These knives got dull after one use and I don’t put them in dishwasher. Sorry but I would have should have returned these.

The chef knife developed a pitted hole in the steel near the handle. I'm afraid the metal for this knife had some impurities in it.
