These are the best headphones I've ever owned. I don't know if there's something unusual about the shape of my ears, but traditional earbud-style headphones just do not work for me. I either need to buy the ones that come with earhooks on them already, or I have to buy aftermarket plastic earhooks to snap on to them. Even with those hooks, however, they tend to fall off my ears, especially the in-ear style of buds; I feel bad for whoever's on the other end of whatever call I happen to be on when that happens because all they can hear is me swearing up a storm as I try to find them on the floor where they've fallen. You would be forgiven for thinking that I should maybe switch to more traditional over-the-head headphones with the ear cans instead, or maybe something like the aftershokz bone-conduction headphone, but while I do believe that would bump up the quality of the audio, unfortunately due to an underlying disability I am unable to put such devices on my head. If by some miracle I do get them on, they almost immediately slide right off and I can't fix them easily. So what does an audiophile like myself have left for an on-the-go daily driver? I'm not going to pretend that the quality of the sound these headphones produce is on par with the best headphones available today, but it is leagues above what I have experienced with other Bluetooth headsets. They're also extremely comfortable, the soft silicone pleasing to the touch, and the design is so well-balanced that so far these have not fallen off my head even when I jam out. I have been told that I am consistently intelligible on calls again. And a feature that is extremely exciting to me is the fact that (unlike my last Bluetooth headset) when connected to two different devices, the OpenFit 2+ is smart enough to know that while I might need to know that my phone has a notification, that doesn't mean it needs to completely stop whatever video I've got playing on my laptop to alert me. I'm sure that's normal on other similarly priced devices, but I'm a person who used to buy their headphones at Rite Aid, so this is pretty cool technology to me. The price point is a little spendy compared to what I usually spend on headphones (remember I used to shop for them at Rite Aid) but I definitely think they're 100% worth it. Hands down my most favorite pair of earbuds i have ever owned. They fit great are very confortable andhalf the time i forget that they are even there in my ears lol. The sound is great have a good range of volume the sound is clear no matter if your talking on a call or listening to music. I fly alot for work and these are great. They stay in my ears when im running on the tread mill exersicing which is awesome so they git my gold start for use while working out. they case is so light its not uncomfortable in yoyr pocket. I find that the controls are ease to use to answer calls or pause music. for the price and quality i can think of none thats better than these. Thanks for a great product. ... show more

I swear this is not an ad I'm actually a human; I may just be overly passionate about audio 😅. The pair I got in yesterday was really impressive, but bone conduction has it's drawbacks. Particularly, Cons: 1. When watching movies, it seemed to have the same problem many standard vizio smart TV models have apparently. The voices of speakers are very soft while every other source of audio is absolutely blaring. There are options for soundboard on the shokz app, but it seemed quite limited. If you know sound production and find a good mixer app and layout to fix this issue with movies/shows, be sure to do just that and somehow, some way, let me know too. Lol 2. The voices of speakers have a light static quality to them. I imagine the first solution would also fix this issue. Also, it's very light. The more you listen the more you don't notice. 3. I do not find them wanting in music, though some people said they were more quiet so they had to turn them up. If that's true, just a lil PSA here: bone conduction can be just as damaging as any other headphone. If you happen to be one of those people who think the sound is too low, keep in mind you could deafen yourself at high levels inadvertently. That goes for movies/shows as well. 4. There have been reports of these specific types of headphones causing tinnitus in some users to worsen. It's rare, but I just want you to know what you're in for. 5. Not for sleeping if side sleeper. If you sleep primarily back and belly, sure go for it. It pokes your ear annoyingly if you sleep on your side. Also, the more important issue is no noise reduction. Believe it or not that affects sleep and I dumb enough not to think of that when I tried to sleep in them. 😅 6. Now that I own a pair, I can tell you RIGHT NOW these DO NOT last 30-40 hours. I'm getting 10-12 max. That's still good, it's just false advertising. Now let's get to the pros: 1. This model really grips your ear without making it seem gripped. I shook my head pretty hard and it held very well with no discomfort. I say "this model" because this is last years model. I chose to go with it because the design looked more comfortable. The newest design seemingly clips to the middle back of the ear and circles around the middle ear which didn't look comfortable to me. I bring them both up because as I am writing this they have same price right now between the two. 2. They really do kinda feel like ghosts on your ears. Just kinda weightless. 3. It still feels so sci-fi to own a pair of these. Somehow pumping high quality music into your ears while you have almost complete situational awareness? Incredible! 4. They are IP55 water resistant. Good for workouts or rain. 6. I have gotten reports of very good audio from the mic so I can confirm mic is good. For now. I've owned this product 4 days now and I have no idea about longevity. TL;DR At least 4 out of five stars from me. A full five if they had a mixer option that fixed that audio issue. And the battery life is a straight up lie, so kind of a bad look. These are fantastic! They allow you to hear your surroundings while being submerged in your music, podcast, or phone call. They are incredibly comfortable. I forget I am wearing them all the time. I wear glasses and they work great with my glasses even though they rest over the ear. Battery life is incredible. I wear them all day and have never had to plug them in to charge in the middle of the day. I am in sales and talk a lot on the phone and the party on the other side of the phone has never complained about background noise or static. I also stay active by trail riding mountain bikes, running, working on the property and working out in the gym I also live in a very hot and humid area and they are solidly constructed. When I am in the gym, I leave my phone in a corner of the gym as I am migrating between stations and have never lost connectivity to my phone. I walk to the opposite end of my house before the "beep" happens that lets me know I am no longer connected to my computer. I also love the multiple devices connected feature. I have mine connected to my phone and PC and can take Zoom or Teams calls and then switch to a phone call seamlessly. I like them so much, I purchased a pair for my wife. She rarely wore headphones before these and now she puts them on in the morning and doesn't remove them until late evening. Highly recommend! ... show more

At first I didn’t wanna spend the money on these, but they are definitely worth it. I have the newest air pod pros and can’t stand how much they fall out of my ear. These stay in place no matter what. I have worn these this summer and have ran them threw the dirt. I’m a welder by trade, welding in a lot of different positions and they stay in place is amazing ! They sound good , long battery life , and mag charge . These don’t have massive bass like I hoped but they sound good ! I haven’t even used my air pod pros sense buying these. I use them every day, usually 1 at a time. They definitely sound better with both and the app is useful. Calls sound great and the mics work flawlessly. These are lightweight and extremely comfortable.i wear one all day long and forget im wearing it all the time because it's so comfortable. Love the physical button works really well even with gloves I wear at work im a delivery driver and they are great for phone calls you dont have to shout or talk loud to have clear conversation. They have great sound for music good deep sound quality even my tv shows sound good. They are little pricy but they are excellent ear buds for all day use.these are my second pair lost one to my first set I've had for 6 months and the battery life is still excellent lasts all day in the one earbud I still have. The one I lost got knock off my ear when I was working didn't even realize it was gone there so comfortable.i recommend these 4.5 stars even bought my nephew pair of the opendots he loves them ... show more

This is my first pair of Shokz headphones, and the overall build quality is good. The charging case is thin and lightweight, and it includes a fabric storage bag for added protection. Silicone over-ear hooks are durable and comfortable to wear. Bluetooth pairing with an iPhone was quick and easy, and the case supports both USB-C and wireless charging. The Shokz app also lets you customize the button and touch controls and adjust the EQ settings. I bought these on Prime Day and saved $99, which made them an excellent value. Sound quality is great. Although they’re designed to let you hear your surroundings, I found they blocked more outside sound than I expected. This may be due to how they fit over my ears.
