I had 18 inches in width to work with for a shoe organizer. That's it! This came in at just barely over 17 inches in width. A gem of a find! It's handmade and very good quality. It's been a lifesaver for our much smaller living spaces! Fits beautifully in the corner of the room with a clear, see-through zip top - very handy when looking for "just" the right pair. The item was shipped in a very fancy package as if it were an intimate item. However, it was easy to assemble and is doing the job well. It does not work for huge feet, though, so the size 13 does not fit even one foot per slot. Not a deal-breaker though.

This is a very well made product. The way you can adjust the size of the opening is great. Much better than the other ones that have velcro to adjust the size. The velcro never stays in place so this product adjusts seamlessly. I use this to store my flip flops (I live in Florida and that's all I wear) and I can fit one pair in each hole. Anything bigger would either need 2 holes or adjust the opening size. The only reason I deducted the star was because the zipper clear plastic cover was missing. I asked Amazon if we could contact the seller and just ask for a replacement cover but they said they couldn't do that so they are sending me a replacement. Other that the missing cover I'd give them 10 stars if I could. On the bright side Amazon told me I didn't have to return the first one. ... show more

No velcro sections to size together. This one has a very unique system that lets you make different sizes spaces for your shoes by just flipping the attached things inside.
