It fit perfectly and I was pleasantly surprised by the notches on the bottom of the base to allow it to sit flush with the wall. Really great design. Easy to assemble comes with clear directions and took me a couple of hours. I put it together by myself but with 2 people it will go faster. Very sturdy and heavy duty. Fits 24 pairs of shoes. Sneakers and dress shoes and sandals. If the shoe is bigger than a size 11 they might not fit. Mine are 9 1/2 10. Slim with plenty of space and hides shoes well and makes the space neat and tidy. I love this shoe cabinet. I was surprised at how very sturdy it is. I love how clean it looks and fits my son's size 12 sneakers and boots. It also is easy to clean. Especially if you a toddler running around putting fingerprints on everything. It was easy to assemble although I would suggest you have someone help you. It makes assembling much easier. If you have wainscoting as we do, the unit will need to be attached to the wall. It took my husband and myself about 1 1/2 hours to assemble. Each piece is labeled but it isn’t easy to get your hands inside to set the doors. I’d buy it again. In fact I did buy two. We’ve only put the one together yet. UH OH! After using the show cabinet for a few weeks it is coming apart. The shore are falling through due to the inside boards not being stable and falling off. I would not buy again !! I’d return if I could but the window of time to return has passed. Now I have one that won’t keep my shoes in it and I have another one still in the box needing to be put together. I don’t think I’m going to bother. I’m a senior and can’t afford this loss of $$ ... show more
