I'm in LOVE with this storage cabinet! It's more gorgeous in person than online. I love that it hides and holds so many of our shoes in a beautiful way. It is both functional and a design piece. I actually do NOT have it by the door; it is in my living room against a once blank wall. PROS: 1. The extra shelf on top allows me to place decorations on top. 2. The cabinet is thin and doesn't take up a lot of space depth wise. It's literally the perfect size to hold shoes and doesn't have "empty space." 3. It's the perfect size length wise, especially for my wall. The four drawers allows me to put in so many shoes! It is also easy to designate each drawer to each member of my family. 4. Each drawer has two slots, holding about 4-8 pairs of shoes depending on the size (adult or child). 5. The middle slab in each drawer has two slots that it can be placed through, which is helpful for bigger shoes. For example, my husband uses the top space for his sandals and the bottom space is used for his shoes. 6. The space underneath the cabinet is big enough to still vacuum underneath. CONS: 1. The only issue I had was the cabinet leaning forward a bit. However, I just placed some paper/cardboard at some of the legs and it fixed the problem well. After that, no issues and no wobbling! This thing took me 6+ hours alone to build! I really like this shoe storage cabinet. It looks nice, doesn’t take up too much space, and keeps everything organized. The shelves are sturdy and adjustable, but I’ve found it’s best for slimmer shoes, flats, sandals, or kids’ shoes. It’s not the best fit for bulky running shoes or tall boots unless you remove a shelf. The instructions were great and very easy to follow, so putting it together was simple and didn’t take long. The doors close smoothly, and the cabinet feels solid once assembled. It has a clean, modern look that blends well with any room and makes my entryway look neat and tidy. I like that it keeps shoes out of sight instead of scattered around. This is a beautiful piece of furniture. It's nice and sturdy. Stability is nice. It says to mount it to the wall but I did not. The back is open with just 3 pieces of wood planks top, bottom and middle horizontally. I wish it was a closed off back. It holds 3 shoes per row so 24 in all. Largers shoes gets smashed or just don't fit. So I had to put them under the cabinet. I also wish it was a soft close when opening the doors. It is metal banging on metal. It's very heavy. Legs are not made for dragging across the floor so put it together where you want it to be. Ever thing aligns well including the doors. One person can put this together until you get to the drawers. You'll need someone to hold them while you insert screws. The holes for the screws were not fully drilled. If using a screwdriver it will be very hard to force the screws in. I pulled out the handy electric screwdriver which was a lifesaver!! Use an electric drill. It'll go faster and your hands will thank you. It's also quite tall. Instructions were easy to understand. No missing parts. The shelves just need to have more room so shoes don't get squashed. ... show more

I recently purchased the Maupvit Large Shoe Cabinet with 4 Flip Drawers, and overall, I'm quite satisfied with my purchase. I cannot speak highly enough about this shelf! I was so afraid when I unboxed it and saw a lot of individual pieces, BUT it was so easy to assemble because of the level of detail and guidance in the instruction manual. The shelf is beautiful and perfect for my limited space. I am thankful the creators put so much thought into the design. I couldn’t be happier with it! I wear a size 11 women’s shoes and could fit most of my shoes inside the shelf then was able to line my boots underneath it. ... show more

Took a while to put together and I had to have my husband help me hold the drawers steady when I put them on but it is great! It also seems pretty sturdy. You definitely have to anchor it to the wall like the instructions say to. If not I’m sure it would fall over easily. Overall it looks good and cleans up our entryway, so I’m happy! I will say, we are all tall and have pretty big feet so my husbands shoes (14 in men) did not fit and mine and my oldest daughter’s shoes (both 11.5 in men) barely fit. But it hold quite a bit of shoes especially if you have little kids. ... show more

I really wanted to get control of my sons' shoes because they were always strewn all over the entryway floor. It gave me such anxiety to look at them! I have been eyeing these cabinets for about a year now, but I was scared to take the plunge. We all have pretty big feet, so I was really worried that our shoes wouldn't fit. While I wasn't able to fit as many as the manufacturer's pics show, I was able to get all the shoes off the floor. For reference, the sizes of the shoes in my pics are men's 9, men's 12, and women's 11.5W. The men's 12s just barely fit. I even had to eliminate the divider from the one drawer in order to fit the bulkier high-top sneakers. I don't think anything bigger than a men's 12 would fit. The directions say to screw in the dividers, but I just slid them in place so I can readjust as needed over time. My 13yo and I assembled it. Assembly wasn't hard but it did take some time. It is definitely a two-person job. Overall, I like the look of it. I just wish it had a few more inches of height and depth to accommodate larger sizes more adequately. ... show more
