I was really fed up with the mess of shoes piling up by the front door, and this black 5-tier shoe rack with a lid turned out to be such a great find! Putting it together was a breeze—no extra tools needed. I glanced at the instructions and got started right away; it didn’t take long at all, and I managed it all by myself without any hassle. Once assembled, it looks so neat. The black finish has a sleek, simple look to it. It doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb in the entryway; in fact, it fits right in and even adds a little understated style. And the lid is such a highlight! When the shoes are inside, just close the lid—no more messy piles in sight, and it keeps dust off too. I don’t have to keep wiping the dust off my shoes anymore; that’s such a time-saver. What’s more, it doesn’t take up much space. Our doorway isn’t big, but this rack stands there without blocking the way—instead, it makes the most of the space. The best part is how much it holds! I counted, and each tier can easily fit 3-4 pairs. My sneakers, canvas shoes, my partner’s daily shoes, and even my flats—over ten pairs in total—all fit in. Close the lid, and the doorway looks instantly tidy, no more shoes scattered here and there like before. It’s pretty lightweight too. If I ever want to move it, I can just pick it up and shift it easily by myself. The rack doesn’t look super heavy, but it stays steady even when it’s full of shoes. It’s a deal for $25. I bought this because I’m so tired of looking at my funky open shoe rack by the door. It just looks tacky. This covered this and is slightly bigger than what I had. It was fart easily to assemble but I will say I got a little confused jumping the gun when it came to putting the second flap on. But it’s very sturdy, no parts missing BUT I did get two extra/spare parts. Maybe that’ll come in handle one day idk. I hate the creases in the material so I’ll try to steam them out but it’s a decent little rack. I’d recommend it. Lastly it did KINDA have a musty smell. Just slightly. It also came in an small box that was like 12”, 12” by 3”.

Difficult to put together. Instructions were so misleading. The covers dont fall right and the bottom stays partially exposed. Had it 6 days and it already started to tear apart with 2 sets of shoes for a 11 year old and 9 year old. Standard sneakers. 2 pairs. Not 2 pair each. Don't bother.

Missing parts to complete assembly. The package came quickly and in tact and the instructions were pretty easy to follow. If you mess up it would be very easy to fix. Unfortunately, I was missing the last to “A pipes” to attach the “lid” to the whole rack. I emailed the customer service email provided on the instructions but it bounced back saying it was a valid email (even though my Gmail had a drop down for it). Then my only options on Amazon was to do a return/refund. I really need the rack so I’m just going to keep it. The material isn’t the best, it’s flimsy but also sturdy if that makes sense. Just another cheap fabric type furniture piece but it’s getting the job done so though I’m a little frustrated I don’t get the finished look I’m happy my shoes are organized now aha.
