I use this to organize my work shoes (flats, not heels). It holds many pairs of shoes. It is perfect for someone who likes to keep things tidy and in place. I can easily keep my shoes together and see what I have. It does not come with instructions but it isn’t terribly complicated to put together. These are sturdy and exactly what I needed. My husbands shoes do take up one hole for each shoe, but I figured and got the two pack. They fit great in a cube shelf in our mud room. I love that it has the handle to pull it in and out quickly!

I packed away my summer footwear and stacked these on top of each other. My only reason for making it 4 stars is that the slots could have been slightly bigger to fit pairs.

    • If you have big feet, you can’t stack one on top of the other.

These are ok storage boxes for clothing but you might not be able to stack them. I wear a size 11 and my shoes stick up above the top of the boxes and with most of shoes I can put only 1 shoe in each slot, limiting the storage to 6 pairs of shoes, not 12. If space is limited you may need to opt for one of the taller brand boxes also sold on Amazon. This is a sturdy box by Lafulling that helps keep your closet looking neat and organized but I can only store 12 pairs of shoes in 2 boxes. So for about $26 you get 2 shoe storage boxes with the potential for storing up to 48 pairs of shoes, but that would be a stretch unless you are storing flip-flops and $26 might be a little pricey for 2 fabric covered boxes that you can only cram 12 pair of shoes in. ... show more

I've always used shoe racks and they take up so much room. These make my closet look so organized and you can stack them! I can put a pair of sandals or slides in one pocket but crocks, tennis shoes, and some heels need their own pocket. You can't use them for boots.
