Got these for my grandson, he's been asking me for some but the ones he wants are very expensive and we are just going to paint some rocks so I tried these, and I have to say these are fun little paint markers, the paint dries fast and the color is really good, I did try blending but it dries to fast to reallyblend so im going to try some water and a paint brush to see if that does the trick. We did use these for rock painting so the tips started shredded fast so I ordered another set just to see if it does the same on a canvas or a paint board, so I will update after I receive the next set. ... show more

Some of the markers are good overall, especially the blues & metallics, we're both sides of the marker work, they're true to their cap color, and good paint consistency. However there's a lot of colors that don't match the cap, are close enough to other colors that it's difficult to discern the difference, such as the purples, and the orange/yellows. The white orange marker, the fine point didn't even work. And I got them mostly for the fine point side. (The first picture is the clear cap side that I painted with each one to show the color it dries) The black is so watery that if you try use it on anything but paper, it beads up into tiny dots no matter how much you put on. And sometimes the paint on one side of the tip comes out more than the other for some of the colors. What I didn't like most about the markers themselves was the fact that there's no true green. There's a blue green, and a dark green which still has blue in it so that's a whole commonly used color that isn't even there. But yeah we need that many yellows and pinks right?? And also just to mention at the end here, I ordered a 36 pack and they gave me a 24. I send it in for an exchange they send me a 24 pack, again, Now just with a new label slapped on the 1st that says it's the 36 pack like that makes it okay -_-. I only got help when I talk to an Amazon associate, and not the seller. ... show more

I just discovered acrylic paint pens a couple of weeks ago and really like them for painting fishing lures. Today I painted a wooden lure I carved from a tree branch and also a plastic lure. The paint worked well on both lures. It only takes a few minutes to paint a lure, there is no mess, no odor, and no clean up. You could even take them fishing and modify a lure's color if you discover the fish have a strong color preference on a particular day. This has happened to me a few times, and it is frustrating if your fishing partner has the only lure with the fish's color preference for that day. If you purchase these, read the short instructions on back of the carton -- especially note they should be shaken before using and stored horizontally. Also, don't press down hard and return the caps tightly. Each tube has a broad tip and a fine tip. The broad tip is under the clear cap, and the fine tip is under the colored cap. The caps have slightly different diameters. This means they do not fit in the box unless you have a mix of clear and colored caps on top as shown in the middle photo. ... show more
