I swatched all the colors on the brown amazon bag so you could see how the lighter colors held up. Most were great besides white (the color to the left of the black). This was only one layer of them, but two of the white, and it barely shows. Besides the white being eh, the colors seem great.

So my project was a 2x4 ft acrylic canvas painting, where I needed an acrylic pen to outline the shapes--kinda like stained glass. I wasn't sure how much I would need, or how long these would last, and I only needed black. So I bought the whole set, thinking my kids could use the other colors for their projects, no biggie. But, I ended up buying a couple sets because they didn't last very long--and then ended up at at my local Michael's buying just black. Yes, my mistake--I should have purchased black-only ones on AZ or Michaels. Having never done a project like this, I didn't know what to expect; and once I started using these, I didn't want to mix different brands in case the sheen was different. Mixing brands ended up being OK and my painting was fine. I did like the pens and the quality of the coverage, shape of the tip, and they were easy to use. But, definitely not for larger projects, unless you plan on buying a couple sets. ... show more
