I wanted something modular but good enough quality to last a while. Not like an Ikea futon or anything that would fall apart in 6 months. I wanted a real sofa with moveable pieces to accommodate different situations. I really like that I can make a U shape with two chaise sections, a larger L shape with a longer chaise, or put everything together to make an extra bed for guests. It's a really cozy set up for a movie night. When the boxes came (6 in total, rather large) I opened several of them and did not find any instructions. I also noticed I received two boxes labeled 6, so I think I had 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, and 6 or something like that. I started assembling, hoping that the instructions wouldn't be necessary. On the very last box, I finally found the instructions, and it definitely wasn't in 1 or 2 or 3. I don't remember where. The good news is that after reviewing it, I did all of the steps correctly anyway, so it really is straightforward. A little tedious, though. It's a very firm couch with a satin type of feel. I didn't realize that based on the photos because the texture looks rather matte, but it's definitely got a sheen to it. Not a problem for me. I do wish the sections fit together a little better. They're kind of linked together with little metal pins (that you can move and change) so everything isn't sliding around the room when you're sitting, it just doesn't always feel as snugly together as I would have hoped. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The fabric is beautiful. But, its built very thin. One good plop down and its gonna break. Also they didn’t give us the correct size screws. Not worth $737.00 closer to a $300 couch

We recently finished our basement and were in the market for an inexpensive but comfortable couch. The only problem is our house was built in the early 60's and our basement door frame and stairwell are NARROW. Less than 30 inches- I think maybe 27 inches. Looking for couches that would fit and didn't cost a lot of $ proved to be a challenge. We gambled on this one and it's perfect! It came in 6 boxes and was easy to assemble. The fabric is soft and velvety and the couch is pretty comfy. You can rearrange this easily as well. Keep in mind- this couch does not hold a candle to our main living couch which we spent well over $3,000 on. So if you're looking for a couch of that caliber this isn't it. This is a very nice, comfortable velvet couch. Have had it for over a month now and very happy with my choice. It came in 6 big boxes and assembly was easy, only took my daughter and I 40 minutes to put together. Would recommend

Returned. Sat on the sofa end and it fell apart. The screws came out. Had to return everything and won't get refunded until June. Not good.

This is a great sectional and I love that every single piece can be moved around but yet it has the fastener to hold them in place. I was dosappointed to recently see they are not available since one of my family members wanted this set. I would return this if I could. But how do you return a couch that's in a bunch of pieces without boxes? The pieces don't stay together correctly there's big gaps. I have MS and if I sit on it more than a few minutes I can't stand it. And You can see everything on it little crumbs little anything that gets on it.. ... show more

This couch is gorgeous! Extremely versatile and able to be converted to fit many styles and spaces. The cushions are firm and need some time to be broken in.
