Very cheaply made. Cushions are not even so good luck laying down on it. Screws come out- my 43 lb dog laid on it and the screws came out of the middle. The backs do not stay up so it can’t be used as a chair. Just overall awful.

When putting it together, there is the middle cup holder part you need to attach; when doing this one side of it the bolts come right out of the holes so it really only completely attaches to one side. Disappointed in this. Other than that, it is smaller than I thought it would be, however, functional and will work for what I need it for. I just wish the bolts attached properly. ... show more

I’m really happy with the Shintenchi futon sofa bed! The black velvet upholstery looks sleek and feels soft, instantly adding a modern touch to my space. I was a little confused by the size of the box when it arrived, but it made sense once I opened it. It is essentially two squares that you put side by side and then the screws to hold it together. Super easy to assemble. I think it was 12 screws in total. Relatively easy to move around due to the felt pads on the bottoms of the legs. It's a little low to the ground for my taste, but serves it's purpose well for the space that it's in. I'm sure it will get a lot of use over the years. Happy with purchase. ... show more

Fine fir sitting, not for sleeping. Very uncomfortable for sleeping due to the joints sticking up and being very hard. I don't even think a kid could sleep on it.
