From what i can tell, this is the only reel that has the quick cast feature. All you have to do is a short reverse reel and the finger stop makes it so that you just need to use your index finger to pull the bail back and cast with one hand. I love that feature. i have about 6 of these reels. I wish this feature would come in reel with more bearings and a little better quality. ... show more

Nice reel, smooth action. Love the Shimano trigger system. Only draw back for me was it comes unstrung. No instructions that show how, or best method to tie on the line. watched numerous Youtube videos to tie on and string the reel. It is also a heavier reel than I thought it would be. Love the quick fire trigger it puts the line on your finger perfectly every time. And the drag is very easy to adjust while battling a fish. 9 out of 14 of my reels are Schimano. fantastic reels!
