This is my first electric bike so this review might be swayed a little by my excitement and amazement for this technology. It was a black Friday purchase, based on the positive (although limited) reviews I found for the bike. I felt that for about $1K with free delivery, it was a good value compared to other bikes on the market. Prior to receiving the bike, I had checked out the online manual and installation videos and researched as much as I could. The bike arrived much sooner than promised, and mostly assembled as expected. Parts were secured with strong zip ties and foam, so nothing was moving around during shipping. There were no instruction manual in the box. No big deal, everything can be found online anyway. However, the online assembly video is for an older model, the front fork is different in the new model. Also the fender in the old video is different. But it's easy to figure out and the installation went smoothly. A hex wrench multitool was included, and is really all you need. A real screw driver and plier might come in handy though. You might need a helper to unbox and flip the bike upside down during installation. After assembly, the battery was charged and it was time to ride. Since this was my first ebike, I wasn't sure what to expect. All the settings were in default mode, and only the front motor runs by default. I watched a couple of S600 youtube videos, but you don't get the excitement (and a little fear) when you experience the pedal assist kicking in for the first ride. It does take a little getting used to. For example if you're trying to pedal up to the garage or someone in front of you, be prepared for the sudden jolt of power so you don't panic and fall or hit something. After having ridden over 50 miles, I've gotten comfortable enough to increase the max speed and go down a crowded bike path or take it off road. It won't squeeze through narrow and difficult paths like my regular mountain bike, but that's not what I bought it for. In addition to the outdated documentation, there is also missing information. For example I could not find how to reset the trip odometer. To do so, you hold down the minus and info buttons simultaneously for a couple of seconds. It would be nice if the manual offers suggestions on when to use rear or front motor or both. The manual does a pretty good job of covering battery maintenance and charging though. For example it recommends that you charge the battery after each use, even if it's a short ride. The brake seems under powered, especially if you're going high speed. It feels like you have brakes for a compact car but driving a large truck. The motor hums more loudly than I expected, someone can definitely hear you coming up to them and hear the electric motor whirring. The headlight is adequate, not the brightest. Shifting is smooth like a regular bike. It would also be nice if the console has a password lock feature, for obvious reasons. But for $1K with free delivery (some other bikes were charging almost $300 for delivery), I am happy with the purchase and can't wait to put more miles on it.

This is my and my wife's first e-bike. It's a full on beast. Well assembled, solid components, and dual motors combine for confidence in the wisdom of the purchase. It will literally go anywhere and the Samsung batteries seem as if they prefer to NOT discharge. Overall, this e-bike has opened new worlds to explore and we could not be happier!

Very heavy duty and well built. Samsung battery!!Rides like a cadillac.It has pedal power.pedal assist and full electric. It has it all. The battery has 5 hash marks for battery level , I went for a , pedal assist , 20 mile ride and I still have 5 hash marks!!
