They are not necessary. This package comes with all you need. The side and back panels fit very well. I didn't put up the front as we are using it as a garage and don't need to keep opening it.     • This is not a equivalent replacement
This canopy is not a good replacement for my original shelterlogic system. Due to the threat of hurricane Irma, I cut down my original canvas. I have a 10x20 frame and ordered this as a replacement. This does not fit correctly nor is it as sturdy (installation) as my original. This thing attaches with bungee cords and does not attach to the frame as my original. I also had to buy the side wall canvas separately and it doesn't fit. The walls do not quite reach the ends of the frame and the height is a foot too long. Be careful ordering this item, because the key word is "fits" 2 inch frame. I ordered this item in a hurry and did not carefully read the title and decided to assume I get what the picture is showcasing. sorry this is late i ordered this canopy in 2016 it stood alot of bad weather for 3 years an is steel being used. but it showing alot of wear an tear but for the price it lasted longer than i thought?

I live in windy Wyoming and although this tent was blown across the yard twice stakes and all, and had 3 ft of snow dumped on it overnight it held up amazingly well. The first wind had torn the eyelets out around the door but was quickly replaced with a simple phone call, highly recommended

I was looking for a shed type enclosure and the ad was not clear that I was only buying the sides only, 3 sides. I needed a top canopy and a frame as well. Also, I never opened the box so it is not fair for me to rate this product but one cannot write a review without rating the item. I dont know of the construction of item or thickness of material. Added to my frustration was that almost immediately after I bought it I realized it needed something more, wasnt clear on what but when I went to cancel the order they wouldnt let me do it. I was even able to speak with a real person who semi-confirmed my suspisoion about the product but she wouldnt cancel the order either. Therefore I am hesitant to futer orders. ... show more
