I bought this for my brother to store his truck that doesn't fit in his garage so he can still work on it without the wind and such getting him. When he opened it it was just the sides of the tent ( we knew it didnt come with the polls we already had them) but I was supprised when it didn't come with he roof of the tent. So he had to go out and buy and tarp to put over the top of it for the time being until he finds a roof for it. He hasn't even had the tent for 2 months and there are Already holes in it. I live in the rain forest out side the Volcano National Park, Very harsh environment, windy & rainy. Nylon zippers are a must. We'll see how long the painted poles last, after 2 months they show a little rusting discoloration but thats about it for wear. Heavy duty plastic material holds up good except the very bottoms where it rubs on the ground. Good not great in the wind but that would depend on how well you stake them to the ground. They come with lots of rope and plactic feet for the poles, dont use the little pins they give you, get tent stakes. ... show more

    • Keeps the rain and wind off your toys
I needed something to protect my new tractor from the elements and I already had a 10x20 SL canopy that we used for a picnic table area. I re-deployed it to cover the tractor but it would not keep the windy rain from coming in the sides. Enter this product. This went up real easy and provides protection from the sun, wind and rain. I had to adjust my corner posts using a bullet level so that the corners would meet properly. This thing is like a green house so it will get very hot in there on a sunny day. I pulled up the fabric a few inches around the bottom so that the air can get in. One thing you will discover right away is that thing will now catch the wind and will need to be tied down. The pitch is very good to help rain flow off- as mentioned above simply short for the frame it was advertised to fit... so that is disappointing-

ShelterLogic send you the white cover. You have to purchase the metal frame separately. I know that no matter who you buy the metal frame from it is going to be very flimsy. For that reason we built a wooden frame. It's for the material it is high quality and very well worth $100.

I had an existing frame and canopy so I thought I would give this kit a try. I was surprised at how easy it was to set up and just fit perfectly. Because of my backyard setup, I left the front open instead of using the side door.
