It is comfortable, flattering, provides the support I need with a flattering tummy. I love this swimsuit. I'm in my mid 50's with a bigger tummy than I'd like (size 14 pants - I bought the size Large). This suit is adorable! It really covers the tummy without looking like it's covering the tummy. I wanted a stylish suit, and this fits the bill. Be aware that it isn't modest in the breast area. I'm a 38 D, and this suit gives me just enough coverage, but it does flaunt the bosom - so be aware. I think this is part of why it doesn't look matronly. I was hoping that the shorts under the skirt would provide a bit more coverage than they do - they are very short shorts - think Daisy Dukes. But this isn't a deal breaker for me. Plus it's not too heavy in the water. And it's perfect for wearing poolside with a wide brimmed hat and not embarrassing your teenagers and their friends. ... show more

I absolutely love this bathing suit. For reference I am 5’5 / 145lbs. I’ve been trying to find a modest, flattering quality one piece bathing suit for forever now, as well as something with shorts because my bikini line cannot stand the tight material of swim suits. This suit checks all the boxes! It has about two inches of material on the shoulders so it doesn’t dig in. I’m a 32DD so the medium is a bit snug in the breast area but I actually prefer it because it keeps everything contained. There is about 3 layers of material around the mid section that I wasn’t expecting, but it also keeps the bathing suit ruffled so it’s not clingy to you, and dried pretty quickly. The shorts connected are closer to boy shorts, and the elastic around that area is soft and unaggressive (if that makes sense). The back is backless but only goes to the middle of the back, so it holds in and smoothed out my lil back rolls. My only complaint is it did have that black dye smell that some time black clothing has but went away after a wash in the washer. Would absolutely recommend! ... show more
