This is an unbelievable umbrella. I recently traveled to Ireland for 13 days where it was rainy and windy every day. This umbrella stood up to the fiercest of winds throughout the country, even on the Cliffs of Moor! I watched others' umbrellas being ripped inside-out in the wind and rain, and mine remained a vortex against the elements! It is oversized yet compactable. Dries quickly, and folds effortlessly. You will not be disappointed at all! Absolutely love it!

Was really excited to use this because we were getting more rain than normal but we were walking on a windy day and some of the thinner metal pieces inside bent. Really sucks because this was expensive and I was looking forward to the sturdiness that was advertised

The moment I got this umbrella in my hand I could tell it's well made. Everything on it is sturdy and seems to by high quality. Even the spring for opening the umbrella seems to be heavy duty. The umbrella has a little bit of weight to it compared to other umbrellas weighing in at 1lb 5.75oz but hopefully that's a testament to how long it will last. Only time will tell but it has a lifetime warranty so I'm not to worried. My only suggestion would be to first have the vendor add this is the Vortex V2 to the title as I had trouble locating it on amazon and being able to get other colors or even customize the canopy would be a nice edition.
